Rachel Powell, a mother, was found guilty on nine federal charges.

A Pennsylvania mother who was known as "Bullhorn Lady" because she used a bullhorn to instruct rioters at the U.S. Capitol was convicted Tuesday of nine federal counts.

Rachel Powell was found guilty on a variety of charges, including felony counts of interfering with officers performing their duties and obstruction of an official proceeding. Her bench trial was held in May, and U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth delivered the verdict Tuesday.

Powell was accompanied to court by her children, one of whom was wearing a red "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" hat in the courtroom. Powell had posted on social media that former President Donald Trump had given her child a MAGA hat. -snip

A federal judge has denied a bid by Jacob Chansley — the Jan. 6 rioter who famously wore a horned helmet and left a menacing note for Mike Pence on the Senate dais — to throw out his conviction by citing videos aired in February by then-Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth said the videos aired by Carlson, which showed Chansley roaming the halls of the Capitol, occasionally alongside outnumbered Capitol Police officers, were devoid of meaningful context, especially when contrasted with the extraordinary volume of evidence of Chansley’s crimes.

In fact, if Chansley, who pleaded guilty in September 2021 to obstructing Congress’ proceedings, were sentenced today, Lamberth wrote in a 35-page opinion on Thursday, he might be inclined to sentence him to a lengthier prison term than the 41 months he received. -snip

Watkins also testified that there was no violence at the Capitol when the Oath Keepers approached the building stating, "It was like 10 minutes before we got there." But video evidence from her phone tells a different story: she and the four other Oath Keepers on trial for their participation in the January 6th attack can be heard saying that while Trump instructed them not to harm Capitol police, that he did not instruct them to not harm members of Congress.

Jessica Watkins, an Army veteran and member of the far-right Oath Keepers, was sentenced Friday to 8.5 years in prison for participating in a plot to disrupt the certification of the 2020 presidential election culminating in the January 6, 2021 attack on the US Capitol.

At trial, prosecutors showed evidence that Watkins founded and led a small militia in Ohio and mobilized her group in coordination with the Oath Keepers to Washington, D.C. on January 6th. Watkins and her counterparts ultimately marched in tactical gear to the Capitol and encouraged other rioters to push past police outside the Senate chamber.

Watkins is being sentenced to a men's prison, so she has tagged right-wing U.S. House members on Twitter, pleading to be sent to a women's prison:

No doubt, her predicament is 100% of her own doing. She'll cry victim, but that's standard Rightism tactics.

Other Proud Boys are facing lengthily sentences in a federal pound-you-in-the-ass prison as well. Hopefully they all get at least 90% of what the prosecution is asking for.

They milled around in protest, were invited in according to video evidence, yet are doing 30 years when gang members are bringing guns to turf wars and getting away with it as mutual combatants. The definition of a kangaroo court, and a broken social contract.

But Trump will fix all of this. Wait and see.

I suggest that when Trumo goes to prison, he and all these Proud Boys and Oath Keepers who went domestic terrorist for him all be put in the same wing of the same prison. Let it sort itself out organically.
