With the exception of Stewart Rhodes, these deplorables are getting off rather easy and it's definitely due to privilege. Even Rhodes with his longer sentence should have really received more time.
eg the one Trumper insurrectionist that had over 30 prior convictions, two for assualting police officers, got a slap on the wrist prison sentence for his assault on police.

This is because some of the police were on their side, while the police that did their duty still showed EXTREME levels of restraint. If a BLM group had attacked the capital in the exact same fashion Trumpers did, the police would have beaten, gassed and shot dead hundreds, maybe thousands.

Trial date set for DC Police lieutenant accused of lying about Proud Boys contacts.
A DC Police lieutenant accused of tipping off Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio about an investigation into him and lying to the FBI about their communications will go before a jury in February, a federal judge said Monday.
Lt. Shane Lamond was indicted in May with one count of obstruction of justice and three counts of making false statements. He has been on leave since last year over questions about his relationship with the Proud Boys leader following the indictment of Tarrio and four other members of the group on seditious conspiracy charges. Tarrio and his co-defendants were convicted earlier this year on a multitude of charges in connection with the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and await sentencing. -snip

Former Marine with central Illinois ties found guilty in Jan. 6 Capitol attack
A man with central Illinois ties was found guilty of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding and civil disorder by a federal judge on Wednesday, following his involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, according to the Associated Press.
Donovan Crowl, who graduated from Bushnell-Prairie City High School in 1988, was at the Jan. 6 attack in paramilitary gear, marching with a group of Ohio members of the Oath Keepers, a right-wing militia group. At the time of his arrest, Crowl lived in Woodstock, Ohio.
Crowl will be sentenced on Nov. 17. -snip
