edit: It was Bash who noted it before, Trumpers were robbed of their standard cooling off and coping period, the time between an election and the new admin taking over. Trump should have been soothing them with "we had a good run, but we lost." and similar sentiments, not riling them up with vicious lies and empty promises.

I thought they can stop him from ever running for office again, and from getting a pension and things like that. That’s actually why I think Republicans might even betray Trump, because they don’t want to have him as political competition in 2024, but I don’t know how likely that is.
