Adam West Batman vs. MacGyver vs. DCEU Batman Vs. Bane
Round 1. The four mentioned beings all go through a series of obstacle courses and tests that involve ability to adapt, discover, escape etc. Who is overall superior?
Round 2. They are each given a Home Depot and 24 hrs to prepare for an assault. Who makes the superior Home Depot Fortress?
Round 3. All 4 enter a caged arena and fight to the death no weapons.
Which MacGyver? Original or Remake?
Which Bane? Poison Ivy henhcman or Bat Breaker?
1. Remake MacGyver would win. He's a super genius who can build anything from basically anything. The stuff he pulls off with seconds to minutes of time to put his creations together and doing it on the fly almost 100% of the time is insane and he's got 4 seasons of feats to pull from.
2. Remake Mac again. You give him 24 hours in a Home Depot and it'll be like For Knox and Home Alone had a baby.
3. Adam West Batman can't be killed by punches. He thwoks them all to death.
I assume original MacGyver is probably just as insane as the remake, but I've never watched more than an episode or two and that was back on tv when I was a kid so I remember nothing except that one time he made a zipline to cross a pressure sensitive floor with some fishing wire and a swiss army knife or something.

Aside from combat, MacGyver is heads and shoulders above everyone here and it's not even close. Adam West Batman probably gets wins if he's allowed every single gadget he ever had, but he's not gonna invent something on the fly. He'll just say, "here's my trust Bat -plot device-".
So yeah he can win thanks to 60's plot armor but Mac would actually be able to do things like create tools, traps, and come up with solutions to problems with stuff he finds in the environment. Not stuff he magically brought from home that exactly somehow fits the situation.
Nu-MacGyver is basically a borderline reality warper. Not even kidding. Pretty much every episode he does things that are literally completely impossible in the real world. IIRC, he once made a mini-lightsaber out of a torch and a CD-player or some shit.
He's only so-so in terms of pure combat though. He's hardly incompetent, but he's not someone who can take down a room full of mooks with just his bare hands, for example.

Yeah he just plays fast and loose with the laws of existence and explains it calmly while using a firehose to move several tons of girders or make a bomb out of a trash can and mentos or something.

And his Swiss Army knife is like made of adamantium or something, given the things it could withstand. I also recall him breaking out of a room that had literally nothing in it other than a small, sealed up wall panel, and the door (which was reinforced IIRC) could only be unlocked from the outside. Though I think he might have had a paperclip on him. Can't remember 100% clearly, as it's been a while.

That's AW Batman's ability though, he somehow knew he'd need "X" and has it readily available when the time arises, most often to absurd levels of reasoning.

Agreed that AW Bats power is essentially "super prep" and having what he needs when he needs it. Although we never see him actually making anything so it could be Lucius or Alfred or someone offscreen in a lab working for him like most times.
I'd argue that's kinda cheating in the vein of this scenario. There's no point in needing to adapt or overcome obstacles if you already have the solution. Nor is there a point in having 24 hours in a Home Depot when you brought all your gear from home to use instead.
Shadow, can you confirm if you intended Westman to have access to his quantum bat belt where he can pull out whatever, whenever he wanted?
Or is this him with just his suit and his wits? Since aside from him, no one else has much in the way of gear(aside from Batfleck having like a grapple gun and stuff?)
Back on topic though, I'd say Mac's power is "insta prep mixed with low level reality warping". Some of the things he does are literally impossible, and he makes it happen with things he finds in the environment of where they happen to be. In record time most cases. So he doesn't come to the problem with it already solved, he sees the problem and fixes it with random stuff he finds lying around.
So while Batman is haxx in that he has pre-made solutions to problems, without those he would be screwed. Whereas Mac can solve the problem no matter what it is at the scene.
If West is allowed his plot-armour utility belt then, yeah, he wins. He'd just whip out whatever he might happen to need for any obstacle he might encounter. Mac would be runner up both the first and second round though due to being able to make virtually anything on the fly with just stuff that is lying around, especially since he can bypass the laws of how things actually work in the real world to make his inventions function. Hell, he once made a working long distance radio out of snowmobile parts despite not having the correct parts to actually do so.
Mac probably ends up dead last in the final round though. For all his over the top, reality bending inventing skills, he's probably the most grounded of everyone here in terms of his H2H capabilities.

Exactly. Mac is actually a badass in a fight and is a highly trained Army EOD technician. He has solid fights all the time. But he's very realistic as you said. Sometimes he'll knock a guy out in one punch. Sometimes it's a slugfest. Sometimes he gets beat up like a real person would in real life, even a badass.
