Black Adam v the Main Man

standard versions of both--no crazy versions of lobo. in a 750mx750m ring. who walks out.

The ring gives Lobo the advantage. My vote goes to Lobo.

really? lobo has some pretty solid speed feats i thought. you don't think he could react to adam?

I think the best speed feat he has is against Byrne Supes .. but the latter was under Eradicator's influence so I'm not sure how much stock I'd put into that.

I think it could be quite similar to this:

Even if Black Adam is much slower/stronger than Superman, I think he is still considerably faster than Lobo.

Lobo fought Billy before, their fight shook the entire cosmo

I think Black Adam is too fast for Lobo, and even in character would he not hold as much back against Lobo as the typical heroes.

yeah i remember that fight. i think any fight ba doesn't blitz would be very close. let's say he blitzes lobo 4/10. i'd give him the win in each of those. the other fights would be really close but i think the lightning could prove enough to give him the edge in at least another couple. so say 6/10 based on power and speed. the other 4 would be a toss up imo. that would still net adam 7-8/10.

i'd say billy wouldn't do that well--he's less likely to use the full range of his powers like adam is--at least in a forum setting. imo.

The ring size won't allow for too much in terms of hit and runs.

I say Black Adam in a moderately hard fight. Black Adam is my third favorite DC character, so I'm rather biased on this one.

Black Adam bruises while Lobo heals. The longer this fight lasts, the more that it would favor Lobo. This is a guy that trashed L.E.G.I.O.N 97 all by himself. If Black Adam can dominate the fight from the offset, he'd win by KO, but when has Black Adam ever nearly killed Superman? Lobo nearly did when they first met.

yeah i agree with you. if i remade this as a slugfest, it would favor lobo, though i don't think it's impossible to adam to win. has he ever charged his fists ala billy? that might help here as well. i thought he has, but can't recall a specific time...

N52 has Def charged his fists up. Also has that transmutation thing.

The fists were charged with lightning when he hit Prime in Infinite Crisis, and I think it almost seemed like he charged his whole body when he went through Spectre.

oh yeah, the prime disaster lol that's exactly the scene i was thinking about. wonder how lobo would have withstood that type of attack...

In the most extreme of cases, Lobo has regenerated from a pool of blood. What effect do you think Teth's blast would have on him in ways that'd keep him from getting back up? I think that Lobo would win a battle of attrition. He'd simply outlast Black Adam. Unless BA was able to blitz KO him? I doubt it, but I suppose that the possibility exists.
