you know, i was thinking--would it be better to make our 7 picks and reveal them all at once? we we made the same picks that would be fine. if we all try and pick different characters, won't that sort of dilute our pools? i could easily repick and hide the picks until we all declare them, or send them to me or phil to reveal if anyone thinks it's a good idea.

I guess it depends if you want a broader pool or not.
yeah, i think that's the stance we're taking, but i'm still a little unclear on a couple things.
if borg and i matched up, one gets first pick, correct? say borg picks a mh. do i HAVE to choose 2 lh's or 3 hm's? can i choose a mh to go against him? can i choose 2 hm's + 1 lh? and we get to pick who we want, is that right? or is it random--ie--borg randomly gets a mh, then i randomly get 2 lh's and if the match is no good we re-roll and hope for a better match?
guess i'm still a little hazy on the rules. and am i the only one who finds it suspicious that phil and ds are BOTH away at the same time...? no doubt taking a couple days in a hotel working on draft strategies. sneer

whether you get mh, lh or hm will be randomized. some may land a mh vs 3 hm, others 2lh vs 3 hm etc.
the characters will be randomly picked from the pool of everybody's choices for each of the 3 tiers.
