Darkseid vs Gladiator

Lol

Darkseid doesn't even notice Gladiator attacking.

He notices but the same thing that happened when he fought Anni-Hulk would happen here as well.

Hows Darkseid hitting Gladiator who is significantly faster?

He isn’t if he’s using that speed. Gladiator’s battle IQ seems low, due to his past failures, which should not be any reason to pin those failures on characters with similar speed. How does he use his speed? Most of the time he’s puffed up and bragging. That wouldn’t be a good thing in most fights.

Good example imo... TPs imo just owns raw speed.

CIS off, PIS off, Darkseid either timestops or uses telepathy to mindphuck Gladiator.

Assuming Carver still believes TP owns raw speed. He might be wrong. Or right.

Anni Hulk used a form of mind control on Gladiator and mauled him. I don’t have the pic to post, but it’s a legit way that Darkseid could take control of this fight.

When did Darkseid show TP in that battle with the Justice League? Scans please.

Per forum rules, n52 characters who have not had many showings default to their pre 52 showings.

You fell for it 😈

Darkseid shit stomps, and we are now past two pages so you can't change stips.

True form Darkseid arrives as per full capacity rules, and Glads dies.

Eh, the rules also say that we only revert to the rules where OP hasn't set down specific conditions. OP said it's specifically Darkseid from this specific comic.

It's definitely a stupid thread tho.

True, so I guess Darkseid KOs Gladiator by.... standing there (like in that image in OP). No Omega Beams, no punching, he literally just stands there.

I have faith in Gladiator's ability to lose no matter the odds

Since it's a stupid thread, might as well go for it..

Where do the rules state we only revert to the rules where OP hasn't set down etc etc? Because the rules do say that, but only about the 'rules below':

However, in the cases where the original poster did not set down any constraints or conditions for the fight, then the match would default to the standard rules below.

However, the following rule:

New 52
If a DC character is involved in a thread but does not have a lot of feats in DC's New 52, then fall back on pre-reboot feats

Is stated BEFORE the 'standard rule' clause.

See below:

So Darkseid doesn't have anything that proves he could beat Gladiator?

How does he not recognize Gladiator when Gladiator will be punching him at super speed with high end strength. Wait, you're right. He won't notice him because by the time Gladiator attack is done, he will be knocked TF out.

None of Gladiator's attacks would register with a Full Capacity New God.

I thought Telepaths outclass raw speed? Let me know.

Why wouldn't it register? What fts in that comic makes you think he could withstand Gladiator full on punches?
