No need to change it. I literally said from that comic. It can't get anymore specific than that. It's good to know that you think Gladiator wins though. That's why you are trying so hard to change my rules, lmmfao.
Yeah and the rules specifically say what happens when n52 versions with little or no feats are used.
Tell me, what feats does Darkseid have in this single issue? Remember, your OP said only one comic lmao.
Not really changing rules when....it's literally forum rules lmao.

Since it's a stupid thread, might as well go for it..Where do the rules state we only revert to the rules where OP hasn't set down etc etc? Because the rules do say that, but only about the 'rules below':
However, the following rule:
Is stated BEFORE the 'standard rule' clause.
See below:
It's also really just a codification of the principle that we all normally follow that OP sets the parameters for discussion. So we normally allow CIS but every Mr Mind thread disallows it. We normally stick to full capacity and disregard PIS but there's nothing wrong in principle about the question posed by Stoic in the Mongul/WW thread.
Lastly, the rule really has no application anymore since DC canon has changed again but I don't think anybody's nitpicked about it til now.

Preaching to the choir, and tbf am only nitpicking the order of clauses precisely because, as you say, it's a silly thread. Agreed that Stoic's question indeed has merit, but since it's a carver thread, I will stick to the 'i before e, except after c' type rule and argue order of precedence here lol.

So who wins?
Darkseid, obv. Since your n52 version has got like zero feats apart from KOing the JL and saying his name (lol), he gets his pre-52 feats as well.
Which includes TP.
And as you assert TP outclasses raw speed, AND Gladiator is vulnerable to getting mindphucked, plus PIS/CIS is off, its an easy win for DS.
It is. Gladiator would be a play thing to Darkseid. He just operates on an entirely different level than Gladiator. Gladiator has a mortals mind and we saw how well he did against the false gods of the Shiar . They literally had him dead to rights!
This is a quote, Was Gladiator easily defeated by Sharra and K’ythri in comic book history?
The Answer
Yes, Gladiator (Kallark), the Praetor of the Shi’ar Imperial Guard, was defeated by Sharra and K’ythri in the comics, but the context of this encounter is significant. This event occurred in “Avengers Vol. 5 #42” (2015), part of the lead-up to the massive Secret Wars storyline.
Context of the Encounter:
• During the Time Runs Out storyline, the multiverse was collapsing, and universal incursions were leading to widespread destruction.
• The Shi’ar gods, Sharra and K’ythri, manifested as part of a cosmic council convened by the Living Tribunal to address the impending multiversal collapse.
What Happened?
• Gladiator, fiercely loyal to the Shi’ar Empire, tried to challenge Sharra and K’ythri when their plans conflicted with the survival of the universe.
• Despite Gladiator’s immense strength, he was easily defeated by Sharra and K’ythri due to their divine power. As gods, they exist on a level far beyond Gladiator, who, despite being one of the most powerful beings in the Shi’ar Empire, is still a mortal.
