the path forward is Desantis, but we all know the idiot Trump would rather bring the GOP down rather than bow out. The GOP leadership really need to throw funds into him as a frontrunner, and showcase how strong his victory in Florida was or they're going to get a split ticket and Donny's toxic base ruining it for their potential in 2024.

Carthage is a Trumper that is having buyers remorse now, like the dudes that spend too much money on an exotic sports car and then realize people just think they have a tiny penis and the car is too low to drive over speed bumps. Too funny.

The Murdoch-owned New York Post, which long championed Donald Trump, mocks 'Trumpty Dumpty' for failing to put the GOP 'back together again'

The New York Post's Thursday issue will invoke a large question mark around Donald Trump's future in the Republican party — and it comes in the form of an old nursery rhyme.

"Don (who couldn't build a wall) had a great fall — can all the GOP's men put the party back together again?" Thursday's cover read, referencing "Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall" by Mother Goose. The cover was shared by New York Times correspondent Maggie Haberman, a former New York Post reporter herself.

The cover — which features an egg-shaped Trump teetering on the edge of a wall with "TRUMPTY DUMPTY" plastered at the bottom — is a sharp turn from the paper's glowing endorsement of the former president in 2020. -snip

The Republican exodus from Trump has begin, see the rats flee. :lol

Said it before, but ideally three things happen:

-Trump still makes his big announcement next week that he will be seeking reelection

-Trump gets snubbed by the GOP and they pick Desantis or whichever other Rightist deplroable is running in 2024

-Trump gets so butthurt he runs in his own "Trump MAGA Party" as he's threatened to do in 2021

Former RNC Spokesperson Doug Heye lamented the "MyPillow-ization" of the GOP today on Fox:

"We could go back to 2010 and 2012 where we saw a lot of these terrible first-time candidates that caused Senate races to fall by the wayside in Nevada, Delaware, Indiana, Missouri.

This is why Mitch McConnell was warning well in advance that we have a candidate quality problem. But what we've seen is a real intensification of this problem from top to bottom.

Not just Senate candidates, but House candidates, secretary of state candidates, and governors, and the like. And it's what I call the 'MyPillow-ization of the Republican Party,'—we've attracted these cartoon characters.

And if somebody speaking at a rally with a president or presidential candidate is best known as a pillow salesman, run to high heaven.

Because you're going to see more of these cartoon characters who are trying to make money off of the party, become Instagram influencers and celebrities more than they are about being serious legislators.

There is a reason Madison Cawthorn lost his primary in North Carolina. He telegraphed and said clearly, 'I'm not serious.'"

^ lamented the "MyPillow-ization" of the GOP -snip

Best part, they did it to themselves.

"-Trump gets so butthurt he runs in his own "Trump MAGA Party" as he's threatened to do in 2021"

this is part of why I'm starting to hope he stays on politics 😂

I think he also said the "Trump Patriotic Party" as a possible name at one point.

And absolutely, he'd still pull people like Broly, Surt, DDM, SilentMaster, Etheneo etc., to vote for him, but it wouldn't be enough to come close to winning anything, just enough to sink any Republican running.

That Trump Presidential dynasty of Don Jnr for 8 years then Ivanka for 8 years sure looks likely eh?

Why do you love crushing Trumper's hearts and dreams, you're a monster.

Yes. Yes I am.

The 55+ lead the Republicans had in the House of Reps just yesterday is now down to 19 seats.

Still looking like Mackerelmore could be correct, Republicans will take the House but by a small fraction of what they had predicted/bragged about.

Senate could still go either way with three seats up for grabs.

This previously claimed massive "Red Wave" and "Trump Bump" isn't really panning out the way Trumpers imagined and we're seeing staunch Trumpers backing away or outright attacking Trump now.

If Republicans can't do a massive swept when all the cards were in their favor, not being in the White House, recession looming, inflation soaring, Biden having dementia, they really need to change the course they're on. I hope they don't, as they deserve nothing by their actions.

I'm good at predicting these things.

You think Repugnicans will dump Trump after this?

they can't. trump is their qtard white supremacist base. they can either keep the nazi vote or speak against trump

Like all they had to do was announce any policy that would help the working class and those struggling on benefits.

Like any. But they just cant bring themselves to do it.

Its just the fake promise of trickle down economics, by either tax cuts for the rich, or cutting back on spending to help to balance the books which will supposedly help them one day.

But Zero direct help promised.

Whilst Biden has demonstrably been helping people.

Sorry, DT, Biden's done nothing for people, nothing good and he lost the war in Afghanistan for us.

Researchers say 2022 election had second highest young voter turnout in last 30 years

-Turnout in battleground states was even higher for this key demographic, at around 31 percent.

-In previous midterm elections, young voter turnout hovered around 20 percent.

-Data show young voters tend to support democratic candidates.

Nearly 30 percent of young adults between the ages 18 and 29 are estimated to have voted in the 2022 midterm elections, marking the second-highest youth turnout in three decades. -snip

Some jabberhead on Fox was claiming this is he cost of America's youth being indoctrinated by the Left 😂

Um, maybe they just don't like the Rights beliefs and polices, supporting a violent coup, tax breaks to the wealthiest, taking away people's rights over their own body etc

trump is being strongly advised not to hurt the gop by attacking desantis, and also to not announce a 2024 presidential bid before the georgia runoff election. and you know how well trump follows important advice

Lock him up and lock Desantis up, there must be a reason for the latter.
