Of all the possible indictments he's facing, this is the most tame of them, Makes me wonder if this is a test run, to see how his violent cult reacts to his veiled calls to arms.
Like is this the lube before the indictment for pressuring/threatening election officials, staging a coup and starting an insurrection comes?
His cult, why not as big, is frothing.
IF they actually indict him, it's because they believe they have at least a good chance of a jury finding him guilty. But the max sentence for this crime is only four years and prison time isn't mandatory (per the NYT article), meaning he could/will serve house arrest for a shorter amount of time. I also think they want to test how his unhinged and violent cult reacts.
But if they're able to convict him here, there's a solid platform for the other criminal investigations to go after a former President, even one running for office, and those crimes, if found guilty, have MUCH harsher sentencing.
Trump could end up in prison with those, it will be the resort prison Bernie Madoff went too, but still "prison". I'll believe it went I see it, but it would be just lovely.

Only takes one Trumper with a gun to kill people. I don't think we'll get another Jan 6th level of mobs, as Trump has lost stock, but small groups is more possible.
The police/authorities also learned the hard way on Jan 6th that their "Blues Lives Matter!" is just an empty catch phrase. So hopefully they'll take Trump's dog whistles more seriously this time.
