Legal experts have said if Trump were indicted that any trial could still be more than a year away, possibly coinciding with the final months of the 2024 presidential campaign.

Assuming he could even get the party nod, would this quash any 2024 aspirations?

Or could he run concurrently to the trial?

Cd is not a Trumper, he is just looking to troll. It amuses him, don't be taken in Rob. He is behind it all quite smart.

I'm sure it does amuse him, but a big "nah" to the rest of that

Since a convicted felon can run for POTUS, according to many legal analysis, then a person on trial can definitely run.

Trump will most likely be running 3rd party in 2024, knowing he won't win, but so he can still fleece his cult for money, so you'll be able to vote for the orange criminal a 3rd time.

Unless Trump males a deal with DeSantis (or whomever is the candidate) where he doesn't run, but throws his support behind DeSantis and therefore his cult, in exchange for pardons. Federal pardons of course.

😂 Maybe, I've seen him post a long time, this "shift to the right" is a relatively new thing.

No doubt!

"Security analysts who monitor far-right chatter on social media, said initially the impulse of Trump's followers was to heed his call and hit the streets. But by Monday, the tone had shifted, according to the analysts and messages on several social media platforms examined by Reuters." -Reuters

Trumpers are out in very low numbers. Very little protesting. Sad.

I would say, good Rob, it will embolden prosecution.

I mean, do we want people out in force? Maybe people are smarter than we give them credit for.

Kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don't commentary if you're gonna condemn them for taking to the streets, yet gloat about it if they don't.

Cd, I think Rob means the Trumpers behavior, is sad who went out, it was on Jan 6th and is now.

And hopefully future prosecutions. Trump needs to pay for pressuring election officials, trying to overturn an election, spurring an insurrection and staging an attempted coup. Justice must be served.

As always, Trumper deplorables are free to protest their hurt feelings and unfounded claims of being wronged peacefully. Key word: Peacefully

The "gloating" is over Trump's weakening support within his own party. Schadenfreude all the way to eleven.

This is what we need, to happen. If it can get that far in the USA... The USA needs this and so does the free world it leads.

can't figure out which is more nonexistent: trump's tuesday arrest, or the "protests" he ordered to his cultists

interesting wasn't it.

Has anyone seen his latest meltdown?

No, what he melt down over now?

Edit: Just read that Mike Pence is finally going to testify on the Jan 6th investigation panel. So over that?

I actually re read the article on Raw Story and it was just rehashing what he said in Waco again but in a more editorial way, so apologies nothing new. It got white powder sent to the New York prosector though Rob.

I've not read what Trump did at his Far-Right rally in Waco. But seems like the usual, play the victim, fearmonger and get his cult frothing until they're ready to attack.

”Donald Trump Indicted”

One of several to come 🙂

here comes the REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

He’s calling this “election interference”, it’s not of course, just funny considering he tried to overturn a legal election, started an insurrection/attack on the capital and failed coup.

His Truth Social posts though, clearly trying to get his cult frothing into attack mode again. The DA that indicted him better hire 24hr security. Just takes one cowardly Trumper with a gun.
