Aquaman actually has displayed some skill with Telepathy but a lot of the feats are more defensive and probing
Not for quite some time.
There was a run a couple decades ago where he was depicted actively TP sensing danger. He knew for example when he was being targeted by a sniper and just kept to that rooftop.
That's not a depiction of his powers we have seen in a long time and its a shame.
There's also the example pre crisis where his TP was actually shownbas able to breach dimensional barriers that other things couldn't. For example his aunt was apparently the siren of the Sargasso sea. When Atlantis sunk his mother's scientific work made her able to breath while his aunts priestess work opened a dimensional parrier that allowed her and others get away from the danger. Every now and then the barrier weakened enough for her to call out for help thatbwas luring sailors to their deaths. When Arthur found out what had happened he could telepathically breach this barrier when it wasn't weak ànd communicate with his aunt.
Kordax is a pretty powerful telepath in his own right too

It doesn't help that "aqua tp" is a pretty vaguely defined term. Under some writers it's a wholly different type of telepathy that doesn't work like say, J'onn's does. Under others it's just telepathy but used a bit differently.
It's like Aquaman in general though: writers are always trying new gimmicks instead of just focusing on what they have to work with.

Which is a God damn shame, because Arthur as a character has a lot to work with. Sadly not enough writers seem up to the task.

I don’t know I took it more as they access their telepathic power from the same mental plane. But it still has more to do with the mind/thought Arthur didn’t say anything about it being a realm just purely for them. Arthur said it was a realm of pure consciousness and thought. Kordax didn’t even know where they were despite having the same abilities.
Kordax has also shown the ability to control cities of Atlanteans which are just evolved humans and according to Obsidian Age. J’onn said Prehistoric Atlantean are attuned to telepathy. So I think it still comes off as something he could potentially do to other characters who don’t have access to “The Call”
The way I’d do it is Aquaman has his Telepathy which isn’t limited to just sealife (trigger seizures, put people to sleep, etc) and then his Aqua TP which also gives him empathy for sealife which is why he feels so strongly for it. Could do stuff like look through the eyes of sea creatures and know everything they know.
Give him the Poseidon blessing Cullen Bunn introduced as well.
It would make him well rounded power wise atleast among his peers in the JL.

I think it's a failing of modern writers in general, Aquaman just suffers from not being defined enough before these new writers got a hold of him.
I mean, you can't **** around with someone like Superman to the same extent.
you must have some great arthur fan fic hanging around. somethign that shows us how his powers SHOULD work. as a mod, you have the power to make that sh!t canon in the forum. i'd just go ahead and pull the trigger if i were you 😂
and i KNOW you must have an arthur/jean love child in print somewhere. now THAT character would whoop everyone's a$$ lol
