My beliefs closely mirror those if the great Crash Davis.

"I believe in the soul, the cock, the pussy, the small of a woman’s back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days."- Crash

Forgot to add Raptor22 to Far Left.

Fascism is right wing. Every acceptable text will describe it as such.

Yup.

I can't really think of a single fascist leader who didn't build themselves on a foundation of some version of "we (us, not them) have to preserve what is rightfully ours, we have to conserve our values, we have to take back what is ours!" and then use some group or groups as the bogeyman to rile up the masses into a focused mob. It's a tried and true tactic.

I'm reluctant to say "never", but yeah, probably not.

The furthest right you could go would be pure anarchy..

I don't see how free market capitalism would thrive in anarchy.

Nor do I see how property rights would.

We need at least a limited government in order to protect them.

Read human action by Ludwig von mises and man, economy, and state by Murray rothbard.

Both will be the most challenging books you've ever read, but very much so worth it.

No, government s not supposed to be able to do that. That's why conservatives don't want zero government, we want a limited government. I've posted this before but here it is again.

The only legitimate roles a limited government should have is::

1. Protecting people's rights (that includes property rights, btw)

2. Protecting our borders and the country (yes that means having strong border control as well as a strong military)

3. Punishing criminals/terrorists/and other evil-doers

That's it.

Name a single government that does that.
Or name a single government that started small and stayed small.

Nope, it's extreme right. It is the total opposite of big government total control over everything which is the extreme left.

I know many misinformed people think anarchy is on the extreme left but it's not.... just the opposite.

Wrong. Anarchism is a Far-Left ideology, you crying otherwise won't warp reality.

I love how we have a functional ideology chart with four panels but these guys just use a straight line so they can put "me = good" on one end and "you = wrong" on the other, whilst ignoring all political and historical contexts. Really, really funny, albeit embarrassing for them.

I'm all the way to the bottom and all the way to the right, to me anything other than that is a bad guy... But I'm patient.

Without the Government to recognize and protect rights, who does?

I get that you are sort of saying a nice thing about me there, but to be described as "center left" is somewhat painful, lol.

I think we all sort of use different definitions of left. Like "ilikecomics" basically thinks more right means less state interference in the market. I, on the other hand, see left wing politics primarily economically, as the empowerment, and democratization of the workplace for the people doing the work, against capital control of it. In my definition, I have not see anyone on this site express anything remotely as left wing as what I consider sensible.

When you use the terms left and right, what do they mean to you?

Then you'd be hellllla left if you believe those things.

This is a misconception and not correct.

Like communists do with workers vs everyone else ?
Or the proletariat vs bourgeoisie thing ?

Communism literally calls for constant class warfare.

What are you talking about dude ?
