This is so true. I believe in Unions, Cooperatives, the welfare state, taxation, Equity rather than equality as some people need more. But, I also see a need for controlled markets, solid manufacturing, public works programs, a fair days pay for a day's hard work. I believe in overseas aid, raising others up and providing opportunity. I believe in challenging prejudice and putting Education at the forefront. I believe in secularism and religious tolerance. A separation of the judiciary and Government. Religion should not be involved in policy, belief systems are not Science and the military serves a number of purposes that cannot be done away with. The accountability of power structures is key in my beliefs. The power of the people are my watchwords Demos Kratos!
