Darkseid stomps...
He not only tanked Supergirl punch but he fodderized high father...

Amped Superman and Supergirl attacks are nothing...

Was on the verge of killing amped Supergirl and took out Superman panels before this...
He did all of this while losing power...

This isn't even getting into the realms of talking about his Omegas.

Carver actually right about a lot of things today, relatively speaking
GDS is canon
Booster Gold run specifically referred this story
https://readcomiconline.li/Comic/Booster-Gold-2007/Issue-32?id=36569#2
And Darkseid specifically mentioned he was weaker than his previous self even after absorbing mordru and time trapper

Was it ever shown of him even losing that power he stole and when was this deemed as non-canon?
It's then confirmed that he succeeded, and that he had drained Time Trapper as well.
But he does lose control of his powers because of his age.
The reason I don't think it's canon is because it's a story that takes place in the 30th century. Although it may be now with the current state of affairs after Darkest Nights.

But he eventually lost control of that power and his Daxamite army because of his age.
My point is, it's a very different version of Darkseid that we're dealing with here.
True Darkseid is going to be the antagonist of the Infinite Frontier event, so we might as well wait until that concludes.

No, he was initially a lot stronger, being able to telepathically take control over the entire Daxamite population and turn their Red Sun into a Yellow Sun, effectively giving him an army of three billion Supermen. But he eventually lost control of that power and his Daxamite army because of his age.

It's still Darkseid though and his pre crisis fts are Canon.
Also, as mentioned, nothing was ever shown of him losing that amp. His powers were fading but he immediately went back to full power after that showing. Now the determination needs to be, what full power did he go back to and again, nothing was shown or stated of him losing his power up.

The comic didnt say that though.
"So..........My powers have waned over the millennnium! While focused on you, They proved INSUFFICENT FOR OTHER NEEDS"
It didnt say he lost control of that power. It stated that powers were insufficent for him fighting legion while controlling daxamite army. Sp he compared his powers to his previous powers and concluded his powers have waned
He's not beaten or pummeled to death, he gives his speech and then he blows up.

And? I dont see this has anything to do with what I said....
He doesn't have the stamina he used to have. It has nothing to do with his Power Level being lower. When he first manifested in the Great Darkness Saga he changed the nature of Daxam's Sun and telepathically took control of three billion Daxamites. This is not something someone who struggles fighting Superman could accomplish.
To be fair, I think both Darkseid and Mikaboshi are the most overrated characters in terms of power for their respective franchises.
Mikaboshi is treated as a multiversal threat because he destroyed the vast majority of pantheon realms which collectively were referred to as the multiverse. When normally they're just part of the universe. He was also defeated by being trapped in a universe in which he believed he had succeeded in his quest.
And Darkseid is treated as if he could destroy the multiverse if he accidentally tripped while descending a flight of stairs. He was fatally injured by Orion, he fell into the multiverse (and nothing came of that) where he lived as a decrepit old man until Batman shot him again with the same bullet, and Darkseid only manages to get by because of the Anti-Life Equation. Until Superman shows up and starts singing that is.
Neither of these characters are anywhere near as impressive as they're made out to be.
As for my opinion on this: True Darkseid killing off the Quintessence already puts him around Mikaboshi's level, but it's a very different type of feat from almost destroying the universe. We'll see how consistent that display of power turns out to be.

Don't know how much clearer that can be. Also Darkseid never exploded after GDS, what are you talking about?

It sounds more like you think these showings in GDS are outliers rather than he was amped.
Either way, I don't think it's compatible with the current incarnation of the character.

Lolwut? Darkseid dragged all the multiverse because he fell on the multiverse, it's literally stated multiple times.

Okay. So what happened in the Quiet Darkness Saga? No. What I'm saying is that he was initially stronger, but he was unable to hold on to the power.

It's Canon to the current version of Darkseid, though. Also, we saw Darkseid right after this (him exploding). All I'm saying is, the ft belongs to the character and its Canon for current Darkseid. He never loss that power up and nothing points to him losing it.
