He did lose his control of the Daxamites. He concedes to his power weakening over time, his body explodes, and his planet blows up. What more do you want?

And Im saying the comic never explicitly stated he was stronger, on the contrary, the comic explicitly stated he was weaker( Also considering some instances such as White Witch comparing Infinite Man's powers to Darkseid's in later legion's stories, it did imply Darkseid's powers were as strong if not stronger as GDS showed, During LOSH run at least)

All in all, Our main point is the same. I also dont think we should be scaling current Darkseid(I.E true Darkseid) based on GDS

So what? Even though he did put considerable effort into destroying the it, nothing was destroyed.

He wasn't trying to destroy it, he was dragging it to the cosmic hell where he was headed.

Then you tell me what happens in the final panel of the last page I posted.

He teleported away. He appears again to curse Imra's child to be Validus and then changed him back in Legion.

To be fair, I think both Darkseid and Mikaboshi are the most overrated characters in terms of power for their respective franchises.

Mikaboshi is treated as a multiversal threat because he destroyed the vast majority of pantheon realms which collectively were referred to as the multiverse. When normally they're just part of the universe. He was also defeated by being trapped in a universe in which he believed he had succeeded in his quest.


Agree about Mikaboshi to some extent, but it feels like CK's exploits was somewhat validated in the Thor annual.
The Other and Scrier seem to deal with multiversal happenings(more so the latter).
