The fact is Hitler publically pretended to be "christian" (but if you are dumb enough to think a christian would commit the kind of horrible acts he did then you are beyond helping) in public but in his private writings (which were later made public, obviously) he made it crystal clear that he was no fan of Christianity.
He called it a "seductive lie" in one of the many bad things he said about it.

Why not ? Bush was a Christian and he invaded both Iraq and Afghanistan.
