The Biden admin has said it would continue to help Afghanistans who want to leave the country, leave even after the military pulls out fully by the deadline.

I do find it amusing that the UK government is saying that the US is "abandoning" Afghans who helped the allied forces over the last 20 years. The same UK government that has spent the last decade making it as difficult as possible for those same Afghans to get into the UK.

I mean the Afghan war has basically been this side project everyone works on in their spare time so I'm not surprised it's turning into a cluster after 20 years of that mentality.
