Death of the petro-dolar?
Anyways, depends on the time frame. I think this decade might be crucial.
I will. But his analysis has been proven right so far, so he may acknowledge your view, but prevail with his outlook.

Dunno, would that do it? Seems America doesn't really have to import much oil. We import not much more than export each year. It's largely a game of greased hands and outside influence in US politics when it comes to oil. The next 20+ years should see some decline in the need for gasoline, so they will offset it some more and continue to do so.
Fair enough.

Yup, why I said "unless something drastic happens" previously.
Climate change where sea levels rise and fresh water becomes more and more scarce are an absolute certainty. This is not a "Chinese hoax". We only need to lose a relatively small percentage to have a drastic effect across multiple facets of human life. That and the bees dying off in droves due to rising pollution and heat. We need to engineer a super-bee, put that ahead of colonizing other planets.

What they should build is oceanside solar powered desalination plants which also harvest the kinetic energy of waves and convert that into energy as well, that way the plant is powered day and night with clean renewable energy,Whirly, make this happen, thanks 👆
