Vibranium has a pretty meh durability track record, actually.
Cap's shield is a unique mix composed of an experimental steel alloy, vibranium and an unknown catalyst. Sometimes called "proto-adamantium".
The most indestructible object in the whole MU.
It gets damaged only by guys who can vaporize Clark with a thought.

If we look at M as a super genius that can track the route of the shield 🛡 she might be surprising and make a faulty exact opposite or apply a force that is ‘strong enough’ while accessing her full power.
Although telepathy isn’t strong her mind can approach and proximity is valid.
