Where was a time stamp placed on that scene? Why wasn't she driven deeper into the planet?
Time it took WW to reach Earth < 1 minute < time it takes light needs to reach Earth.
This implies
Speed = distance /time it too WW > distance / time light needs = light speed
Therefore speed > lightspeed

Just like that comic where flash evacuated that City and the writer gave a speed that Was just under light speed, yet DC fans tried to override the writer and claim millions of times light speed going by real life physics. Comics defy real life physics for a reason.

In short: vibranium has limits (albeit uknown), but far less than Skyfather level attacks have destroyed an entire island of it, whereas Cap has a much much smaller amount present in his shield.
Makes me wonder if they hold the energy indefinitely so could be overloaded by accumulated energy, or the energy just somehow leaves after being absorbed so it can only be overloaded with enough energy in whatever timeframe.

Smh. They all die, enough with the excuses.

Yeah, seriously.Everyone in the op is a pussy. With the possible exception of hp dd.
You two just want to masturbate your Marvel boners(hence trying to help each other) while ignoring multiple characters here have also taken hits ir energy blasts or both from omnipotent types, like this is anything new. Who the fcuk cares that it's the Infinity Gauntlet? You MIGHT have a point if Cap was atomized as a side effect of the shield. But be didn't. And instead of recognizing that, you'd rather assume Thanos will hit with as much power with the IG as he can. You whine about H1 using physics because "that's not how comics work" while hypocritically ignoring how comics work because you want everyone to automatically die. Sorry you have Marvel blue balls.....actually I'm not. Stop being whiney btiches.
Originally posted by DarkSaint85that’s what I got from the scene. He overloaded the shield with his first punch, energy came be seen. Then he flicked it away with the back hand pimp slap.
Non canon, of course. But you knew that 😉I will rescue you, H1.
What if Thanos merely overloaded the vibranium in the shield? It has been done before - Immortal Hulk did it recently, but Roxxon has also destroyed an entire island of it with some bombs:
So Thanos could've replicated that Roxxon feat, albeit on a much smaller scale - overloaded the vibranium and destroyed the shield that way.
Iron Man #121 for those interested.
