I dunno man, have you watched the movie Network?

I have a feeling that was half parody, and half real life events in Hollywood. Essentially it was about how activists were considered money makers and given stakes in the movie industry, and how majority shareholders are completely out of their minds.

Which probably isn't far from the truth. Anyone can become a majority shareholder if they have enough money, and majority shareholders can impose whatever crazy vision they want.

The material for Network must have come from somewhere. Is it more likely they wove it out of whole cloth, or that some writer saw for himself the dysfunction of media production, made a script out of it, and got it green lit for whatever reason?

And when they got rid of Superman's classic slogan "Truth, justice and the American Way" in favor of "Truth, justice, and a better tomorrow" was that just a publicity stunt too?

No, they did it because they've gone woke. This is further demonstrated by the fact that they are now having Superman fight against "man made" climate change and the deportation of refugees.

Only the woke crowd thinks that there is something inherently wrong with America. "A better tomorrow" to woke lefties is socialism/communism, implementing tyrannical policies to supposedly fight "man made" climate change and shitting all over America.

Iow, wokeism is communist propaganda designed to help bring about downfall of America. China is getting basically everything they want. Their plans are coming to fruition and they now have a weak American president "leading" their greatest competing power...

Oh, and China just tested a new hypersonic low orbit missile that circled the world (we don't even have technology like this) which they could easily slap a nuclear warhead on and they've been running lots of air sorties over Tawaiin recently too.

That, in addition to their increasingly belligerant rhetoric towards Taiiwan, the US, and the world shows that they know Biden is extremely weak and a hopelessly ineffective "leader".

God help us all because I fear we are closer to war with China than ever before now. No way would China be doing all these things if Trump were still our C-in-C.

it seems like ur a bit unhappy with the way America is going and are hoping for some sort of a better tomorrow.

I just wish there was a hero out there that u could relate to.

Give me some time and ill see if i can think of someone.

it’s not a parody. The rich elitist took over under Taft.

😂

He doesn't even own an indoor toilet, never mind a foil hat.

The comic book shop near me, stopped selling comics and now focuses on games and funkpops.

I used to go in there and pick stuff up.

Now the closest comic book shop is 45 minutes away by bus.

But I've moved onto digital and I really don't miss having to pay for shipping, waiting for the order to arrive, and storing the books.

There's hardly a need for any walk in shops anymore, let alone comic book shops.

Jeff Bezos owns us all.

I would never trade my comic book collection and graphic novels for digital versions.

Buying digital may be faster and more convenient but I still prefer to hold the actual comic in my hand.

Good luck reading an omnibus in your hands.

If a book is too big then I'll just lay it on table to read it.

I thought you were done with comic books durmask

I am, for the most part. I said I might still go back and read some of the classic stories ocassionally but that's about it.

Flash dies in crisis on infinite earth.

Comic books will remain a thing, once a generation shows up who only read digitally and they find out that comic books were a thing, they'll flock to start buying them like the hipsters they are. Like vinyl, comic books have an intrinsic, work of art quality about them, I doubt that'll disappear.
