DC has announced that sales of Superman: Son of Kal-El #5 in which Jon Kent comes out as bi have actually exceeded orders.

Due to the unprecedented sales, DC is reprinting issues 1–4, so new readers can catch up.

Not that I'm highly invested in comics, but knowing that news will make the Rightist flip out makes me happy.

It's not terribly surprising. Something like that is going to become a collector's item in the future.

yeah, but fork out for the first edition print run. Although like Death of Superman, with the Armband the print run is too high for it to ever be worth much.

Yeah I thought this would help sales. Mainstream audiences know of this run now. Before this they didnt even know who Jon Kent was.

Its like when Captain America said Hail Hydra.

So much for go woke go broke.

They're all speculators.

People who say the speculator bubble burst in 1993 haven't been following modern trends. The Walking Dead comic is ABSURDLY overvalued, mainly because speculators keep selling them to other speculators in an endless cycle upward.
