How strong is Hercules really by comparison.........

It's not just pain, it's his heart. His f*cking bad heart. His one true weakness. The very side-effect of his powers and the permanent change he's undergone when his powers first manifested and he had no idea what to do in order to control them.

Emma tells him he's gonna die if he keeps fighting - he doesn't even try to engage the Hulk again. Because he knows he's done.

What's your education, carver? Playing in the mud in Zimbabwe? Getting AIDS? Killing yourself with soul food?

Because you just ignored the guy having a pacemaker and almost suffering a heart attack. All from a single hit.

No, it's not "being in pain in a single panel". Go back to kindergarten, at least learn how to spell your name right or anything useful, Derrick.

So I'm guessing Carver has never read X-Men or X-Factor comics. Oh well.

Hey cut him some slack.

You're treating Carver like he's CDTM. Carver deserves better. 😭

You do know comics isn't real life, right? He was in pain, holding his chest and moments later, he was ok, no sign of pain. You implying real world crap to a comic is borderline hilarious.

I know he was in pain during that moment. Doesn't mean the entire time after that he was in "holding chest" pain. There's no proof of that.

So if a guy who has a history of heart problems, and has a pacemaker, starts clutching his chest in the middle of a fight, and his girlfriend is screaming at him to get out of there because of his heart or he'll die.....

We're meant to think 'ah yes, this guy still has some fight left in him'?

Just because he's still standing and is able to talk? Ok.

Anyway, back on topic. Juggy is being underrated here, because he's the only one who managed to lock arms with the strongest and angriest Hulk at the time, and had to be BFRd.

Glad he posted that. First panel before they lock, Juggernaut is charging Hulk.

That's not a charge. They're trading blows. Stop reaching.

You know, that's not even the worst part. We're all used to carver's ignorance.

The worst part is that in other threads, he'll try to argue the exact opposite. Hercules scene is the best example, as DS noted.

This thread got all the answers it needed on the very first page. Now it has simply gone full-carver; there's no going back.

I pray you never have a heart condition.

They NEVER go away. Even just sitting down you get that gripping in the chest.

In real life, of course, luckily, we ate talking about comics.

They are obviously charging at each other.

She's talking in past tense. She is NOT saying his heart is damaged during this scene...

You are genuinely retarded.

Comics do have an internal logic though.

Or do you think Uncle Ben is off on some farm and no one really "dies" in comics like they do in real life?

A heart condition is a heart condition. Damaged heart will not magically become undamaged unless you're Wolverine, or have a similar healing factor (Or happen to be a Japanese anime character, seen them fight with their guts hanging out or pierced through the heart, no super powers)

I would be hurt by this if you didn't call almost everyone that disagrees with you the same thing. I admit, you're consistent though.

She was talking in past tense in this scene, so his heart wasn't damaged. She was telling him to leave before it happens.

No, he's right.

Takes one to know one.

He just headbutted Hulk. They were punching each other, lol.

You're just trying to cover up you had zero idea how Juggernauts powers work, lmao.
