Women, and men for that matter, cover themselves up out of respect to the Muslim faith. Not only that, they religiously follow the teachings of not even touching your genitals when you urinate or eat pork or eat during the day time in spring or drink alcohol. On top of that, they have to pray five times a day and on a Friday, they have to do it in a Mosque while the Muller preaches to them how the money and bread should be divided amongst the people.
They're really ****ing strict about their religion.

I'm frankly surprised so many posters are acting like this isn't a big deal.

The US military as an "occupying force" was not forcing them to do anything they didn't want to do. The Taliban is controlling every aspect of their lives, and it was only the "occupation" that saved them from it.

US occupations generally just stay there only using their guns if provoked. Taliban people, they'll turn those guns on you and make you do Muslim things, whether you like it or not.
