It wasn't Biden's mess. You can go back to Bush's invasion, or even further during the Reagan/Carter years.
The soviet union wanted to take control of Afghanistan and Iran, coups ensued, Saddam became leader of Iraq, then came wars and the Soviet Union collapsed. After that, it just seemed like an issue people didn't want to talk about until 9/11 and Bush went full warmonger mode. Obama, I believe could've ended the Afghanistan war, but I guess the withdrawal from Iraq made things more complicated. (That's me criticising Obama, if you didn't notice.)

The invasion part is what I meant.
We never should have withdrawn our troops. At least not until we were certain they could fend for themselves.
This is the equivilent of backing those Vietnam groups and ditching them to be massacred when they weren't politically expedient.
The fact is Afghanistan was better off help keeping the Taliban at bay then without them.

These troops have been treated by occupying forces by leftists for decades now. Turns out they were actually keeping people free from groups who wanted to take over.

You Trumpers cheered when Trump signed the deal with the Taliban and wanted to invite them to Camp David.
You didn't care about the Afghans then, you don't care about them now. They've been dying from the war as collateral for the past 20 years, but now, just now, it's a problem for you. Save me the faux outrage, no one is buying it.
