If it was me personally I just wouldn't want a concoction of chemicals pumped into me at 98 years of age. I've lived that long so I must be doing something right At that age you are nearing the end of your life anyway and I would want nature to take its course. That's what I would want for me. I understand we want our loved ones to live forever but unfortunately thats not going to happen. I think jabbing someone with an experimental substance at that age is dangerous.

She could die tomorrow or she would live another 5-10 years naturally. If she got covid before the shot, she's in the high risk category of dying.
"Doing something right" is good, but it's not going to really defend someone with a weakened immune system (due to extreme age) from a new virus that can wreck your lungs. There's younger healthy people who have died from covid.
Not protecting the most vulnerable is a shit move.

A Springfield School District 186 teacher who had been in defiance of a state mandate requiring teachers to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccinations or submit to weekly testing said she has informed the district that she is vaccinated.

Between my parents, parent in-laws, uncles, aunties e.t.c. I know so many elderly folk who have taken the vaccine. They all survived it with no nasty side effects that I know of.
I highly doubt the same would be true if they all caught Covid.
