A Downers Grove woman has resigned from her position as social media director for the Democratic Party of DuPage County after coming under fire for a tweet she wrote after the Christmas parade tragedy in Wisconsin.
The local party announced Monday afternoon that it had cut ties with Mary Lemanski and denounced her remarks.
In a now-deleted tweet, Lemanski posted that the crash that killed at least five people and injured more than 40 others was "karma" for the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse.
And in replies to comments by other Twitter users, she wrote on Monday, "The blood of Kyle Rittenhouse's victims is on the hands of Wisconsin citizens, even the children."

Technically speaking, using government money to improve the production of corn fields is a form of socialism, and so is military spending. I guess you can thank Uncle Sam for your bourbon and AK-47.
