UK people wat to rejoin Europe.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brexit-rejoin-eu-shortages-polls-b1956786.html

A four-point surge in support for reversing the 2016 referendum means 53 per cent back membership in a survey by Savanta ComRes, with 47 per cent wanting to stay out of the EU.

And it hasn't bitten yet... 50% of any population are below average.

Fake news thread.

While I think it really would benefit them economically, I don't think enough people realise how ****ed they are, so I'm a bit wary of any kind of claims that Britain at large wants back in.

I mean, people are still ****ing whining about not being able to live in Spain and Portugal, and if they decide to vote back in, you know they're going to have conditions. Conditions the EU don't have to entertain at all.

if they **** with the GFA though, they'll lose any good will they have left.

Yeah but the slightly less stupid, stupid bigots are starting to cotton on imo.

The RINO equivalents are irrelevant. Brexit is over, the right side of history won.

Implying that everyone that voted leave was some kind of bigot? Come on, now. Yes, more racists voted leave than stay. Just don't tar everyone with the same brush, is all.

I realise you only do that to be a contrarian, but that knowledge didn't save you last time, and it won't next time.

You were absolutely right to ban me last time, no hard feelings there.

It's your prerogative to do so again if you feel I crossed a line. Objectively speaking though, is being pro-brexit (Or even a full in right wing blowhard) really ban worthy like naked racism is?

Just asking, I'll try and be good. 🙂

Who was Farrage targeting with this poster.

Most people I know who voted leave are white men and women 45-80 from South London...

Plenty of women and minoritie are anti-vax. Somehow, anti-vaxers are assumed as white and old.

It depends on why.

I never said racists didn't vote leave, though, white or not. Plenty of brown people voted to leave too. I'm sure some of them were racist too, but let's not pretend that Britain was this magical utopia in the EU. The EU in many ways is the lesser of two evils, as opposed to being some kind of utopia.

It is more than the lesser of two evils imo. And yes, no doubt many Priti Patel types did.

I mean, I get what you're saying. Legitimate abominable statements are at least honest protected speech while playing saying incendiary stuff can be a form of trolling. Lets be real though, Whirly is 90% button pushing. I suspect America is a whipping for for him (Granted we can be an easy target, but he really likes to dig at those wounds)

I do also think playing "devil's advocate" can be good for discussion though, in a world of echo chambers. Who else is going to say Brexit is good, or even justifiable, besides maybe Lone Ranger?

And I do at least try and research the good points of a talking point, like what there is to be gained from Brexit, if anything.

Although they won't admit it, the reason was obviously having more control of North sea oil (and fish).

This is why a lot of remainers thought we were simply going to be in the EEA like Norway and Iceland, but there's more to it than that, like expanding trade with North America and Australasia. Not so much a return to the British empire, but stronger connections with those countries.

Don't get me wrong, I love Europe, but I hate the EU. Their plan was a pipeline from Russia to Europe for cheap oil because Britain kept saying "you're not taking our oil" and the final nail was when Putin flat old told the EU, "you're not taking our oil."

There is of course the immigration crisis and the Irish border, but can we at least discuss the elephant in the room that this whole debacle was about oil?

Didn't realize having a pro-brexit mentality was something u could get in trouble with mods over. I'm not really surpised though.

Brexit was such a pointless act of self-mutilation, it is almost mind-boggling to think about. It's good to see that more and more Britons are starting to realize that.

Nah. It was right thing to do for them.

It's not that. Honestly, we all forgot about Northern Ireland 😂
