The identity of Jack The Ripper will be revealed in the next 30 years.
Mohamed Salah will become either the President of Egypt or Prime Minister of Egypt some day.
The United States men's national soccer team will win one of the next 10 World Cups.
Robert Wagner will officially be named as a suspect in the murder of Natalie Wood, whether he will be alive to be charged I don't feel comfortable in predicting.

Idk about the other things mentioned, but George r.r. martin is a good example of how critical acclaim can destroy the process of creativity.

That plays a part no doubt, but I reckon it's the ridiculous sums of money HBO are paying him.
He also probably realizes that the next books are going to be more heavily critiqued than the previous ones given the shows fame that he spends his writing time going over what he's already written meticulously.

Yeah, the money and the acclaim take away the incentive to work. He's super old.
Hopefully the increased scrutiny will produce even better writing.
