Doctors, Teachers, Nurses all being treated like shit as usual in the pay review by the Tories.
The real problem is bad parenting. If the parents don't teach their children the importance of education, and more importantly, the fun behind it, they won't bother or do just enough to get a comfy job like a teacher or a nurse. Why a nurse? Because again, they're easy jobs dealing with drug addicts who made bad decisions in their lives, which again, comes down to bad parenting.
Now I'm in no way blaming my parents for my bad decisions, but I do blame the system. Specifically, the council. As they want to keep a community of spongers to justify their meaningless jobs.
Obviously you have to go to university to become a teacher or a nurse, but when a degree is simply designed to get a job in the social sector, there really isn't much to learn other than reading the script you're given.
To those who don't go to University, can you put a thing in a thing? Great, you've got 3 options, military, construction or warehouse. A simple skill with no aspirations. Numeracy, literacy? Bah, doesn't really matter, does it? As long as they know what you're saying and you can use a calculator, you're all set. The priority in those jobs is can you put a thing in a thing consistently enough to become the person telling other people to put a thing in a thing.
Oh, but wait? What about mental health? What about discrimination? Well, good job the Eastern Block join the EU. More workers. Oh wait, we left that now, didn't we? Well, the way I see it, the Labour heartlands voted for it, so we've got to live with it.
