Boris Johnson

Looking at the polls though, the Conservatives are polling at around 50%. That's staggering.

Chancellor Rishi Sunak and Health Secretary Sajid Javid have resigned from Boris Johnson's government..

I predict a Labour minority governement. Libdems or the SNP would be enough for a coalition government, but neither would and they'd only do confidence and supply.

Starmer (assuming its Starmer) would likely pander to the SNP (who want more autonomy and eventual independence) and the LibDems (who want stronger relations with Europe like EFTA).

I've just solved the problem!

Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales get more autonomy and join the European Economic Area with a similar deal to Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. Of course "NO BAD IMMIGRATION" but also, this will help those smaller countries so they stop relying on England as much (seeing as they always slag us off at football and love Europe so much), and it'll strengthen ties with their viking brethren.

Put me as Prime Minister, Queenie I'm ready!

What does that mean for Boris?

Well, the idea is, with the Good Friday agreement, NI and Ireland will get money from the bank of Europe and labour from European countries. That's my theory anyway.

Ideally I would agree, but right now Ireland has a massive housing issue and has basically nowhere to put anyone. We're barely managing to support the Ukranian refugees we took in (stupidly took in far too many tbh). Not to mention Ireland being one of the most expensive EU countries to live in.

Well, you've got the Euro. Ask Brussels to fund your new plantation in the north. In 10 years you'll finally have it back!

Over 30 more resignations today. Mostly junior ministers and parliamentary private secretaries. Other senior ministers met Boris Johnson today to ask him to resign but as of 19:00 he is still refusing to do so.

Imagine if everyone resigns except him. 😂

It's already at the point where a parliamentary meeting scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled because there aren't enough government ministers left to attend.

That'd be epic

Okay, so here's my prediction.

1. snap election forced by parliament.
2. Labour win biggest party but still not an absolute majority and have to do deals with either the LibDems, the nationalists, or both.
3. Boris Johnson loses his seat.

The most resignations from government in a single day in the UK's history. Senior cabinet minister Michael Gove was also sacked for asking Boris Johnson to resign.

To put it on context. 68 people were either fired or resigned from Trump's administration over his 4 years in office. Boris has now had 40 in 2 days

wew lad

He's gone!

Assuming the news is true, good. Now we wait to see what clown takes his place.

We haven't had a decent Prime Minister since Gordon Brown. Who lost because the right wing Press convinced the voters that he was the reason for the 2008 crash not the global crash, recession and forex traders.

Labour were still unpopular from the Iraq war and Gordon was just awful at talking to the public. Cameron didn't even win a majority.

You're right that he was the last decent one we had, though. YouTube video
