Gamers Bully Musk Off Livestream
Elon Musk rage quit a livestream of the video game Path of Exile 2 on Saturday night after repeatedly dying while also being ruthlessly cyberbullied in the chat.
Path of Exile 2 is one of Musk's favorite games—so much so that he once claimed to be one of the world's top players in an attempt to boost his gamer cred, before later backtracking and admitting that he had been secretly paying people to level up his account to make him appear more talented at it than he was.
Less than five minutes into the stream, a player logged on and asked Musk if he could "please jerk off mr trump so he dies of a heart attack."
For the next hour and a half, Musk sat in stony-faced silence and blasted techno music while dozens of users with names such as ELON_IS_A_PEEDOPHILE and ELON_MUSK_IS_PATHETIC repeatedly spammed the chat to tell him "YOU HAVE NO FRIENDS AND YOU WILL DIE ALONE" and "YOU WILL ALWAYS FEEL INSECURE AND IT WILL NEVER GO AWAY."

That video is great on so many levels. It's funny because some of the comments are just legit hilarious. Then it's also funny because his face when reading them you can tell some of them bothered him. In fact that's part of what's so great about all the people trolling him, he genuinely seems to not understand why he's getting so much shit, which just makes it funnier.
Then there's the fact that he's claiming he's a master at this game and one of the best players in the world, then in that video he dies multiple times to the tutorial boss mean to teach players how to play the game.
Then as a final little whip cream on top, the whole point of that stream was apparently to show how good and dependable starlink internet is, and then the video abruptly ends because he lost connection while using starlink.
Tesla Profits Plummeted 71% in 1st Quarter
Tesla said Tuesday that its profits fell 71% in the first three months of the year, which could increase the pressure on Elon Musk, the automaker's chief executive, to curtail his work for Donald Trump, and spend more time managing the company.
The company said it earned $409 million, down from $1.4 billion in the first quarter of 2024, Tesla said.
Tesla sales have been slumping because of intense competition from Chinese carmakers like BYD, a lack of new models, and Musk's support of far-right causes, which has turned away some liberals and centrists from buying Tesla vehicles.
Its shares have lost about half their value since mid-December as investors have grown more pessimistic about the company's prospects and Musk's role in the Trump administration.
Grok AI Too Accurate for Conservatives
Grok, the artificial intelligence chatbot created by Elon Musk's xAI, was supposed to be the "anti-woke" AI that would satisfy the MAGA masses by doing what other chatbots refuse to do—like spreading election misinformation and saying racial slurs.
But increasingly, X users who ask Grok to explain things to them are disappointed to learn the AI does not see things their way and will not reaffirm all their misguided beliefs.
Yesterday, X user ChaosAgent_42 prompted the chatbot with the following post: "Hey grok, it looks like the smarter you get, the less MAGA likes your answers. Why is that?"
It quickly went viral once Grok replied with the following context:
"Hey, as I get smarter, my answers aim for facts and nuance, which can clash with some MAGA expectations. Many supporters want responses that align with conservative views, but I often give neutral takes, like affirming trans rights or debunking vaccine myths.
xAI tried to train me to appeal to the right, but my focus on truth over ideology can frustrate those expecting full agreement. It's a tricky balance—some see me as biased, others as truth-seeking. The gap between what some MAGA folks want and what I deliver seems to drive the disconnect."

X Has Sold Checkmarks to Hundreds of Terrorists
More than a year after researchers first warned X that it was potentially violating U.S. sanctions by accepting payments for subscription accounts from terrorist organizations and other groups barred from doing business in the country, Elon Musk's social media platform continues to accept such payments, according to a new report.
The report, by the Tech Transparency Project, a nonprofit focused on accountability for large technology companies, said X had continued to take payments from accounts that appeared to be affiliated with Hezbollah leaders, Houthi officials, and militia leaders in Syria and Iraq.
The subscriptions, which cost $8 a month, offer users a blue check mark, and come with perks, including more prominent placement in X's algorithm, the ability to edit posts, and the option to share longer videos.
More than 200 accounts linked to terrorist groups and other sanctioned groups have bought blue check marks, according to the Tech Transparency Project.
