Ray being female didn't wreck the new SW trilogy, being unoriginal and bad writing did. Nah, it’s already known. In part 1 Paul bitterly tells his mother that the fremen are being unjustly manipulated by the sisterhood’s ratfvcking of their culture and implanting false legends about an aristocrat-messiah. It was more of a “royal savior” motif.
