There are abortion laws in place to prevent certain abortions- murder law isn't concerned with abortions usually.

As I have said futher back, I do support abortion in some cases. I still believe it to be wrong, but in this instance, I would abort. It would be in the best interests of both myself and the child. Other abortions, for convienence, are in the best interests of the mother only, not the child.

We can go back and forth about things that should and shouldn't happen, but in this case it's nothing to do with anyone but the woman.
Why is it selfish? Because she doesn't care what YOU think? Who else SHOULD she listen to? The only person who has any say is the father, more or less. It's the woman's body, the woman's foetus. She's housing it, she created it, she is sustaining it.
If she wants to abort it, regardless of why or whether you agree, then that is that.

Indeed, people have a right to their own bodies, and can do what they want with them.
Law should never interfere.
But it does, for society's sake.
Which is why selling drugs is illegal. (or doing them for that matter).
No one is hurt but the drug user, but they are breaking laws that protect the moral balance of society.
(even if you don't like it, you know that laws are based on moral standards)

I believe baby's to be viable human lives from conception and I view abortion as the accepted practice of killing an entire class of human beings based soley on:
their age
their place of residence

Law interferes...because society might not like what I do to myself...despite it not harming anyone at all? With abortion, she's harming nobody. The only arguments people have is:

Precisely. As long as you don't harm or infringe upon anyone else in any major way, it's nobody's business.
Hence why abortion is nobody's business. It's something you don't morally agree with, big deal. Welcome to life. Things happen that you don't agree with. Focus on more important things than people doing stuff you just don't like.
