Abortion

I am weary of debating with you because you usually resort to calling labelling me retarted, idiotic, stupid, ignorant, sock, troll, $lut, etc.

But, if you insist, I will refute now:

*****************************************************************

1) First of all, you compared a foetus to a musician who forced his survival upon you. A foetus did not ask to exist, a foetus does not force you to do anything. A woman who chose to have sex brought this upon herself, because she knows the risks. Her decision is up to her, but it is entirely her responsibility

Your anology, if even comparable, can only compare to a rape scenario, where the woman had absolutely no choice in the matter.

2) Secondly, you have reduced the entire event of pregnancy to a parasitic and invasive nightmare. Pregnancy is far more complicated than how you are trying to present it. You take one aspect of the situation (the fact that the foetus depends on your nutrients for survival and growth), and ignore the rest of this complicated issue. Always a bad idea, because this example is just as uni-perspective biased as the pro-lifer's constant "Abortion is Murder" argument.

Don't you tire of black and white perspectives ? I do...I try my best to look at the entire situation, every grey detail, before I judge....

3) It seems you were trying to enlighten pro-lifers from their ignorance by trying to put them in a scenario where thier choice is taken away and thier health is comprimised. Not a bad idea, but no one is going to take your analogy seriously. You should know that by now, empathy and imagination is not something many pro-lifers and Conservatives possess.

Comparing a plant to a human baby is just silly.A plant is a thing a human is a human!I mean do you really believe that a plant is an unborn baby?jm

A foetus is not a human baby...for the last time....a baby has a heart, a mind, nerves, a brain, a face and body....a human baby can feel pain and cry. An early stage foetus does not possess these qualities.

developed or not, it has a soul.

How do you know ?

I am a Buddhist, we do not beleive in the existance of a soul

How can you say something has a soul when you have no evidence of it and that is a personal belief and another religion doesn't? If that is your criteria then that is your right but what makes your views and beliefs more valuable and important than mine?

The above is not a refutation of my argument, it is a list of reasons why you do not like it.

😆

Take it as you will....I don't care

This is a question that will never be answered because it is based on personal beliefs. One says that life begins at conception and the others say during stages, this is personal view so it can only be answered by the one facing the question.

Actually, there is likely a philosophical view, just not one that has been discerened yet.

However, people are much more interested in bleeting their opinons, instead of actual examination.

relax, i am not from england, i dont go around saying my opinion is fact.

The problem is no one is looking at all sides here.

The pro-lifers ignore the fact that at the early stage of development the foetus has no sensory what so ever, no brain, no mind, no nerves, cannot feel pain. They simply put thier beleifs about a soul into thier perspective and make up stories to themselves justifying why they beleive Abortion should be banned.

And on top of that, many of these pro-lifers do not beleive a young mother should get any help or sympathy when raising her child.

Most of the pro-choicers ignore the fact that during the mid trimester, the nerves, brain, and vital organs are closer to full development. They ignore the fact that a foetus can hear the voice of its mother and responds...they ignore the fact that at this point the foetus sucks its thumb, makes itself comfortable, and can feel pain further down development.

THIS IS NOT A BLACK OR WHITE SITUATION

Everyone needs to stop treating it like it is....

Yes, but while I have stated facts, you and Jackie Malfoy, my two best freinds, have been stating nothing but personal opinion

I just want to clear this up with her, completely ignore this pust everyone except Jackie.

Here is a quote on the whole "A person a person no matter how small" thing with abortion.

The book (most notably Horton the Elephant's recurring phrase "a person's a person, no matter how small"😉 has found its way to the center of the recurring debate, in the United States, over abortion. Several pro-life groups have adopted the phrase in support of their views; the American Life League has even published a pamphlet using the phrase as the title. This has brought sharp criticism from Dr. Seuss' widow, Audrey Geisel (who is strongly pro-choice), and at least one lawsuit was filed in Canada in 2001 to stop the use of the phrase. Before his death, Seuss himself threatened to sue an anti-abortion group for using the phrase.

Got it? Got that quote from Wikipedia.

Btw I'm pro-life.

me 2.
