Makes sense. We all know god only cares when you're a fetus. Otherwise he would be against violence or something.

Womans choice if you ask me.

Abortion is murder. It's that simple. The child did nothing to deserve death other that have crap parents that cared more about their own lives than that of their child.

And before you start the bleeding hearts about "Well maybe they couldn't care for the child after birth." 2 solutions to that problem (1) don't have sex, (A very simple concept that americans don't understand, the 100% effective way to prevent STD's and unwanted pregnancies: Keep tab A out of slot B.) and (2) Adoption.

And before you cry "Wall what about rape?" Adoption.

Is it still your choice?

God doesn't endorse violence. He sits back and let's us do what we will, we are the ones who choose to inflict violence on one another. He is not going to come down and say "Not cool, dudes."

Abortion is factually not murder.

And, luckily, it's not your choice what people do with their bodies.

Nac, you've been my friend for eight years. You know that there are few things that I get truly passionate about. But this is one of them. Frankly? No, I don't think that murder should be anyone's choice.

You just enlightened me...wise words it seems but you left out the word *choice*

The factual part of it is debateable, the legal part IS not murder because of roe vs. wade.

Maybe if your post was worded, "Legally, Aboration is fatually not murder." Because that would be true. Is that what you meant, though?

Is that person not a voter? I could agree that that unborn fetus is technically part of a women's body, so no qualms there. However, it is his choice, as a voter, on what people do with their bodies if it eve comes up for him to vote for a representative that shares his views or for a measure that comes up that he can directly vote on. In other words, it is that person's choice, even if you think it shouldn't be.

Don't judge people until you know their individual reason for doing so....even then it is their choice should we agree or not.

It doesn't need to be included, as no murder is a legal term, referring only to a specific set up of killing another person as legally defined. But yeah, you got what I meant, just thought it didn't quite mean what it does mean.

He can do that, but it is still not his choice, because of Roe vs. Wade. They might try, but the right as interpreted now, is there.

You know..........

The "Choice" is whether or not to partake in the reproductive acts. Everyone knows that pregnancy is a direct result of sex, and no matter how you try to prevent it... It is always a possibility. People these days want it both ways: Sex, but no pregnancy.

The only, and I repeat ONLY exception to that is rape. And on this one I see that we have come to an age where we refuse to accept what life throws at us. We want to do what makes US happy. That's how the rapeist felt when he raped the woman, that's how the woman felt when she had an abortion.

There are alternatives to killing. How about people think of them for a change.

Obviously, when the life of the woman is at risk, it is justifiable to intervene, even if the baby dies.....or is that murder too?

Bottom line Jones, its not your choice to make, if a woman wants something she'll probably get it. Either by throwing herself down the steps or placing a phone book on her stomach and having someone jump on it. If she doesn't want the baby she's going to find every way out she can.

Ok, just don't make it easy for her.

That is the only part that I am on the fence about... on the one hand you have a form of self-defence... on the other... you have the fact that all-in-all it's truly not the child's fault. However, I am only on the fence on that when it comes to rape. If the woman elected to have sex, then she made her choice.

However, if it does come to someone dying as a result of the rape (Be it mother or child) then the rapist should be charged with murder on top of rape.

To be fair masturbation is a form of murder to you know....

Actually, those acts probably would be easier, and no doctor bill to boot.

Nothing wrong with that wish if you do not harm anyone (lump of cells is not "anyone", actually even below a common cow, which we do harm as well, for mere food.

Most people do. If they decide against them, they should have a choice. You don't want people to think of the alternatives, you want them to only do the alternatives.

Yes, but more dangerous. Yea, you'd get your abortion, but you'd risk yourself too.
