You do understand that being dependent on your mother doesn't mean you're less of a living being, right? All babies are dependent on their mothers, regardless if they're 6,9 or 12 months old. Children are unable to survive on their own in general. That doesn't mean they're not alive, or that they're not human.Seriously, "owner"? Children are not pets, nobody owns them. It's called being a "guardian", not an "owner". Anyway, yeah. The mother is the "owner" of her child after it's born too, that doesn't mean she can kill her 2-year-old toddler if she wants to.

Lmao how do you think unwanted pregnancies happen if not because of unprotected sex? Contraception almost never fails.
Originally posted by PsychotronNo, you made the argument that abortion was used as a contraception. You posted studies that showed lots of reasons for abortion, but not one of them stated as a form of contraception. Also, you do realise those studies were done by pro-choice institutions that think overturning Roe v Wade is going to be a disaster, hmm?
And your original argument was that most women get abortions due to rape and unviable pregnancies, which has now been debunked, so now we're left with purely selfish reasons to get an abortion. Thanks for playing.
Originally posted by PsychotronThat's not 100% dependency, there are formulae milks and incubators for pre-born babes. At which point, the mother is not physically attached to the child, which is my point.
Wtf kind of argument is this? You don't need to be independent to have a body. All small children are dependent on their parents for survival even after birth. They lost the umbilical cord, but they need mommy's breast milk instead. 100% dependency. Does that mean parents have the right kill their children after birth too?
Originally posted by PsychotronWhich is why abortion isn't a means of contraception. It's a decision by the mother. It's her choice, not yours.
Condoms may not be 100% fullproof, but they have never failed me in the 13 or so years I've been using them. I've never heard of any of my friends having any accidents either. Also, there are other forms of birth control and contraception.
