claims Canada asked Britain to cover up its role in the operation and that British authorities went along. Canada announced an investigation into the allegations on Thursday, while the British government has said it does not comment on security matters.

You don't see her as an example of indoctrination and grooming?

Nope. Because she showed no remorse for it.

Yeah, she's just as much to blame as the others.

but she's brainwashed and has gone through great personal trauma. I doubt she understands any of what has happened.

I notice you don't extend the same attitude to radicalised incels that commit mass shootings.

Did she shoot anyone? That would change things if she had. That said her radicalisation was very different, I'll concede both's brainwashing started online e, hers though became offline also in a very aggressive way.

Yeah, Whirly is white knighting this *****.

I'm hardly white knighting a woman who has been through hell.

"every institution responsible with their protection put forward tales to explain how three working-class girls aged just 15 and 16 had made their way out of Britain and navigated their way across multiple national borders to the most dangerous war zone on the planet." -/sic/

"Tales" being that all they needed was a passport and plane tickets to Turkey. What with it being perfectly legal to fly anywhere aged 15 and 16.

Did she shoot anyone?_

She sewed suicide bombs into people's clothes so they couldn't be removed without detonating them. She carried a fully automatic rifle, recruited other women into ISIS and reported people who broke ISIS rules so they would be executed.

I doubt she had much choice as a minor in an Isis camp. Compliance is probably survival.

The thing is, it doesn’t matter if you think a 15-year-old has enough cognitive ability and common sense to know better. And it doesn’t even matter if, like me, you think she was the victim of a system and a state -much bigger than three girls from Bethnal Green could ever understand.
-/sic/ My thoughts exactly

I'm a novice here, what are this woman's crimes? I know she joined ISIS at age 15.
