Not even by cherry-picking instances could you make a passable case for the Flash having infinite speed. In the vast majority of cases he doesn't even break the light-barrier. You need to get off TikTok and start reading some books.

😂 you can't tell me what to do, you're not my real dad!!!

He'd join the Justice League where he'd be one of the top tier heavy-hitters, but he'd be limited in terms of utility due to his dependency on air.

What is his intelligence like? I'm thinking about his utility with tech/deduction - WW and Aquaman bring magical knowledge, GL has his ring, even Superman has Kryptonian tech and deductive reasoning.

They dumbed in down in Super and turned him illiterate, despite the fact that he actually learned to read when he was twelve studying under Master Roshi.

He's suggested to be a genius in terms of martial arts, but that's it.

He was also far less naive about women once he became an adult and father. As of Super, in spite of being besties with the dirtiest old man on Earth, and a Saiyan prince who probably brags about his every conquest, not to mention being a father of two, he somehow has no idea where babies come from.

Between him and Hulk, I can suddenly see the appeal he has for certain fans

Even in terms of combat he's always been average, by Shonen standards. Ranma and Jojo characters have far more variety and imagination.

For example, Goku gets both arms and legs broken, and then blasted with a continent busting ki attack, and his genius move is to use a hidden ability called the "Air dance" that he learned from watching Tien in their fight. Essentially flight.

Which is pretty basic. His real genius is a taskmaster like ability to copy or counter any move he sees once, but this is high end MA 101 tier, ANY martial artist worth their salt can do that much.

Goku wasn't an idiot prior to Super. As a kid he was ignorant but not stupid, but that's because he had grown up alone in the mountains with his adoptive grandfather. But the moment he became an adult this wasn't a thing anymore.

Him being a genius martial artist comes down to him learning techniques quickly.

A great example of this is the Kamehameha. It's supposed to take fifty years to master it. But Goku learned it instantly.

I'd argue it started around the Buu saga, he actually had moments of relatable parental concern and insights in Radditz, Saiyan, and Cell sagas.

No. His interaction with Vegeta and Shin, his plan to stall Majin Buu after having Trunks go pick the Dragon Radar as a contingency plan for all the future casualties, and him manipulating/nudging Buu into killing Babadi, all pointed to him having normal intelligence.

Good points. 👆

Super was the lobotomy then.

Even in super he was deemed as a fighting genius.

Goku isn't even my favorite DB character, Jiren is. I'm backing him here because in DC, he doesn't need a team.

I don't think there's any story that has had as much influence on the versus community as Dragon Ball, so it's kind of weird when it turns out that someone hasn't read it.

Hey Astner, did you watch all of it?

What did you think of that gestalt robot who tracked using sonar? I argued this proved Dragon Ball characters must be sub speed of sound, and got called out as trolling.

The show was pretty clear about it though, sonar tracking. Meaning sound. Sound travels slower than light.

Therefore Dragon Ball characters must be slower then light.

He was faster than Dypso who is FTL. You are just nitpicking.
