Less than a year after his wife Mica Miller's suspicious death, Pastor John-Paul Miller of Solid Rock at Market Common in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina has been accused of raping a 15-year-old girl more than 25 years ago and sexually assaulting her again in 2023.

The allegations against John-Paul Miller by the woman identified as Jane Doe #1 from Indiana appear in a 43-page lawsuit filed in the Horry County Circuit Court in South Carolina Tuesday.

Named as defendants are Miller, his father Reginald Wayne Miller, and their connected religious organizations: All Nations Cathedral Church, Cathedral Baptist Church of the Grand Strand, and Solid Rock Ministries.

Many of Pastor John-Paul Miller's critics have argued he played a role in his late wife's death, which he has denied. He has not been charged in connection with her death, even after an FBI search of his home last November.

Law enforcement officials have arrested a 64-year-old pastor at a church in Trenton, New Jersey on charges of sexually molested a teen.

According to police, Charles B. Brinson, pastor of the Brinson Memorial Church on Brinson Avenue in Trenton, has been arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child following separate incidents that happened earlier this year.

Police officials said they were contacted by the 16-year-old victim who claimed that on separate occasions in January and February of this year, while at Brinson's home, the pastor "administered an unknown substance" that made the victim lose consciousness.

In 2008, Brinson picked up another 15-year-old in Philadelphia, and drove that victim to his home in Florence, Burlington County.

Andrew Apple, a youth pastor at a Northwest Arkansas church, is accused of sexually abusing at least two underage victims over several years, according to court documents.

The first victim, whose identity was redacted, reported that the abuse started when they were around 13 years old, while volunteering with Apple at the church.

When interviewed by police, Apple reportedly admitted to some of the accusations and having "a sexual relationship" with the second victim since they were 13 years old, according to a probable cause affidavit.

The 23rd Judicial District Attorney's Office says a jury has found a Highlands Ranch minister guilty of sexually assaulting his own daughter.

According to the D.A.'s office, Richard Merskin, 42, was convicted of sexual assault on a child under the age of 15 by a person in a position of trust. Prosecutors said the assaults were a pattern of abuse.

According to the district attorney's office, Merskin is a minister with The River in Highlands Ranch. Officials say sentencing will take place on May 16th. Merskin faces a minimum of 8 years in prison and a maximum of 48 to life.

A youth pastor charged with more than 30 felonies for sexually abusing children will stay in jail.

Washtenaw County District Court Judge J. Cedric Simpson denied Zachary Joseph Radcliff's bond after hearing from prosecutors how the 29-year-old temporarily fled to Virginia during the ongoing investigation and repeatedly contacted a victim who came forward, and told him to "shut up."

This means, absent another ruling, Radcliff will stay in jail until his case concludes. Simpson made the decision in a Thursday, January 30th hearing. Radcliff's attorney, Grand Rapids-based James A. Thomas, asked Simpson to reduce his client's bond to $10,000.

A church leader will stand trial on 60 charges related to sexual abuse after a Washtenaw County judge added 30 more counts based on preliminary testimony. Supporters of the eight men and one boy who testified against Zachary Radcliff, 29, could be heard crying in the courtroom as Judge J. Cedric Simpson read off the additional charges.

Simpson added nine counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and 21 counts of child sexually abusive activity to an already lengthy criminal complaint.

Radcliff will stand trial on 17 charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, 28 counts of child sexually abusive activity, seven counts of aggravated child sexually abusive activity, and seven counts of using a computer to commit a crime. If convicted, he is facing up to life in prison.

Stephen Hutto, 45, was booked into the El Paso County jail, and is facing a felony charge for sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust.

He is currently the pastor at Highland Baptist Church in Boone, east of Pueblo, and previously worked as a youth pastor at Fountain Independent Baptist Church in Fountain.

According to court documents, the sexual abuse occurred approximately 15 years ago when the victim was 15 years old.

The victim alleged Hutto groomed her, and carried on a sexual relationship with her at various locations, including her residence in Fountain and his residence at the time.

A pastor in Union County was arrested this week after he was accused of committing child sex crimes, the sheriff's office said. The pastor, 79-year-old Waymon Jordan Sr., was arrested on March 5th. He is listed as the founder and senior pastor at Greater Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Waxhaw.

Over the course of several weeks, detectives conducted numerous interviews, and eventually named Jordan a suspect.

Upon his arrest, Jordan was charged with four counts of statutory sex offense with a child. An arrest warrant said that he engaged in a sexual act with a minor who was 15 years old or younger. The child's exact age was not given. The warrant indicated that the crime happened in 2022.

An Oconee County preacher is facing child sex crime charges.

The Sheriff's Office says 57 year old, William Franklin Galbreath of Salem was arrested today on a dozen counts of criminal sexual conduct, multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, and assault charges.

The Sheriff's Office was tipped off by investigators from Tennessee who working a case in which Galbreath reportedly sexually assaulted a minor.

Galbreath started sexually assaulting the victim in 2019 when she was a child, and continued through her teenage years until now. A 2nd teenage victim was discovered later.

Galbreath is the Pastor of Harvest Holiness Church in Salem. In January, he shared a Facebook post praising the Trump administration for banning Pride flags and "ending the celebration of the abomination of homosexuality."

A Woodbridge man has been ordered to pay one of the largest awards to a victim of sexual abuse issued by a San Joaquin County jury.

Pastor Frank James Palmer of Woodbridge Missionary Church was found liable in January of sexual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress stemming from molesting his niece over the course of eight years.

A jury returned a unanimous verdict of $47,000,700 to be paid to Darleen Patrick, according to Zalkin Law, LLP of San Diego, the firm that represented her. The abuse began when Patrick was 5 years old. Palmer is still employed at Missionary Baptist Church, where he has served as head pastor since 2001.

Jeffery Summers, 51, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Port Orange, was arrested on Friday evening by deputies of Port Orange Police Department, according to court records. He was charged with solicitation for sexual conduct with a child over a computer and traveling to meet a minor for sexual conduct.

The arrest came as part of "Operation Full Throttle" last weekend. The initiative included several Florida law enforcement agencies and targeted child predators, according to a Port Orange Police press release. Sixteen people were arrested and charged with various crimes related to child sexual exploitation.

Volusia County Schools confirmed Summers also worked at Horizon Elementary School. The district said he did not teach a specific grade but worked in many classrooms because he worked with special needs students.

Robert Morris, founding pastor of Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas was indicted on five counts of lewd or indecent acts with a child by a multi-county grand jury in Oklahoma Wednesday stemming from allegations made by Cindy Clemishire last June that he sexually abused her over multiple years in the 1980s beginning when she was 12.

In December 1982, Morris was a traveling evangelist visiting in Hominy with the family of the victim, who was 12 at the time. The indictment finds Morris's sexual misconduct began that Christmas, and continued over the next four years. In all, Morris faces five counts of lewd or indecent acts to a child.

Morris resigned from Gateway Church on June 18th, just days after Clemishire reported that he began sexually abusing her on December 25th 1982. She said the abuse continued for four-and-a-half years before it came to light. But Morris was later allowed to return to ministry.

In June 2024, Morris threatened to file criminal charges against his victim. Later that same month, he called his victim, asking her to "put a price" on dropping her accusations.

A church youth minister in Phelps County pleaded guilty in federal court to a child pornography offense.

Bradley Colvin, 52, of Rolla was arrested last March following a Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation into online child pornography. Colvin was identified as a suspect after he shared child pornography online with a person who was actually a state trooper.

During a search of Colvin's home, investigators confiscated four computers, a tablet, an external hard drive, and five USB thumb drives. They contained at least 833 videos and 5,566 images containing child sexual abuse material.

Colvin also admitted during a polygraph to having touched a minor for sexual gratification years earlier at a pool party to celebrate the end of Vacation Bible School.

Crystal Springs pastor is behind bars Thursday after he was arrested for statutory rape. Crystal Springs Police Chief Robert Thomas said Christopher Willett is facing multiple charges after the victim came to the police station with a psychologist detailing the abuse.

Willett is a pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Crystal Springs. He is charged with statutory rape, sexual battery, intercourse (unnatural), computer luring of a person, and child pornography.

According to police, Willett is known to have guns in his home and was lured to City Hall to discuss other matters so he could be arrested without incident.

A Tarrant County jury awarded $124 million to a woman who accused her former pastor of sexual abuse.

In 2017, José Francisco Bernal was arrested and charged with the continuous sexual abuse of two children who attended his church in Fort Worth. Bernal is the pastor at Tabernacle of Life Pentecostal Church. One of the victims filed a civil lawsuit against Bernal in 2019, which led to this week's verdict.

Jurors decided that Bernal did commit assault, sexual abuse, and sexual assault against the woman. They also decided he acted out of malice, and those actions caused her severe emotional distress.

They awarded her $124 million: $11 million for past mental anguish, $20 million for future mental anguish, and $93 million for exemplary damages. The church settled after agreeing to pay her $100,000 and hand over the deed to its property.

A pastor of a Texas megachurch is expected to turn himself into Oklahoma authorities Monday on child sexual abuse charges.

Robert Preston Morris, 63, is expected to surrender to officials in Osage County where he was charged last week with five counts of lewd or indecent acts with a child.

Court records show an Osage County judge set a $50,000 bond and ordered Morris to surrender his passport to the local sheriff.

Morris was known to be politically active. The church hosted Donald Trump on its Dallas campus in 2020 for a discussion on race relations and the economy.

Morris could face up to 20 years in prison for each of the five charges, according to the attorney general's office.

An Orland pastor has been arrested on several child molestation charges, court documents say. Rodger Daily Strong, 69, is accused of molesting a 5-year-old girl on five different occasions between January 1, 2024 and May 7, 2024.

The victim's mother alerted police to the abuse on March 5, 2025. As police questioned Strong on March 7th, he said he served as a pastor for 40 years, most recently at the Orland Church at the Nazarene.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Strong admitted to the abuse after originally blaming the victim.

Strong was arrested on Monday for three Level 1 felony and two Level 4 felony counts of child molesting. If found guilty, he faces 20–50 years in prison for the three Level 1 felonies and 2–12 years for the two Level 4 felonies.

If he is sentenced to serve the time consecutively and at the maximum allowed under Indiana law, Strong is looking at up to 174 years in prison.

Bail has been set at $200,000.

A Jefferson County pastor and school bus driver is being accused of sexually exploiting children. On Wednesday, Elvis Colenberg turned himself in to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. He is being charged with one count of exploitation of children.

Investigators said Colenberg forced a 14-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl to have sex with each other on the school bus he was driving. The female student told law enforcement this happened roughly 20 times.

The 14-year-old male student was not a normal bus rider. Colenberg would pick him up from another location. The pastor would drop all the other students off at their homes until it was just the 14-year-olds left. That’s when he would force them to have sex while he sat back and watched.

A North Carolina pastor was found dead a week after he was charged with multiple child sex crimes, the Union County Sheriff's Office today confirmed.

Waymon Jordan Sr., the senior pastor at Greater Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Waxhaw, North Carolina was arrested on March 6th, according to an earlier statement from the police on Facebook.

Jordan, 79, was charged with four counts of statutory sex offense with a child. The pastor was found dead about a week after being released. Jordan was discovered behind his church with a weapon nearby.
