What is fact is China stands with Russia, and the Saudi's are working towards circumventing the US dollar standard. India also has demand for Russian exports, as do many nations.

That's why, to prevent Ukraine neo-nazis from killing the ethnic Russians who live in the east of Ukraine, Putin has laid waste to the cities in the east of the country where all the ethnic Russians live. The neo-nazis can't kill the Russian Ukrainians if Putin has already had them all bombed out of their homes, rounded up, tortured, executed and thrown in mass graves. 👍

The way I heard it, Putin was being roundly mocked for how long the war is drawing out specifically because he was trying to preserve the infrastructure.

As for atrocities, varios organizations claim there are problems on both sides. When you hear about a shelling of a power plant that Russian forces are occupying, and some are blaming Russia for shelling the facility they control (From the parking lot perhaps?) it makes it hard to tell what exactly is happening, who is responsible for what.

But one thing we do know, if Russia wanted to level cities, they would be leveled. Nothing Ukraine can do to prevent a full on onslaught. Yet the fight goes on, structures remain. Hospitals and schools to either mercilessly attack or hole up in as makeshift fortresses by valid targets, depending on who tells the tale.
