Why would Russia use hypersonic missile to strike Ukraine?
The latest Russian missile barrage against Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure has marked one of the largest such attacks in months.
On Thursday, Russia fired over 80 missiles in a massive effort to overwhelm Ukrainian air defenses and cripple the country’s energy system.
Russia has been regularly launching similar strikes since October in a bid to demoralize the population and force the Ukrainian government to bow to the Kremlin’s demands.
Thursday’s strikes differed from earlier attacks, though, by including a larger number of sophisticated hypersonic missiles that are the most advanced weapons in the Russian arsenal. But just like previous such barrages it has failed to cause lasting damage to the country’s energy network, with repair crews quickly restoring power supplies to most regions. -snip
Putin used his best missiles and still failed to take out Ukrainian energy grids.
All Putin can do is spend money to kill innocents. He's not getting Ukraine though.

Can't wait to read again how there was an "agreement" between Russia and NATO that NATO wouldn't expand eastwards. Despite the fact that Mikhail Gorbachev himself said that there was never any such agreement.
And what agreement justified the Cuban Missile Crisis?
Why does Russia even need an agreement to look after their securjty? Seems the US just does whatever is in its interests regardless of agreements, how many regimes have we funded and toppled?

Somehow Russia is the threat that must be kept in check, yet controls nothing. The US is the dominant superpower. You know, the same superpower that took Hawaii by regime change, orchestrated by businessmen?
