Eternal Sunshine of Guy222's and Rao's Minds (v2.0)

Forget that last post, it was stupid.

The thing I really want to know is, wasn't skepticism for authority a left wing thing? Like back in the Vietnam war, didn't you have protests calling "The Man" a liar?

I had Styletime (Who I consider pretty sharp) laughing with Rob when I brought in 1984, as if Orwell is owned by conspiracy theorists now.

Does that make then left trusting of authority then? Or is it only if a Democrat is in charge, or what?

Just seems kind of weird that the only real options these days are being a conspiracy theorist or not, who gets to be a respected skeptic? Nobody?

Didn't even know Creed 3 existed! Did you see it in theaters?

Yeah the showing was sold out too

Math doesn't add up.

Are like 5 men just being studds for all of society? Is all the sex why heart attacks are up among young people?

Or if middle aged men are hogging all the young tail, where does that leave the mid aged women? I mean young women have to be getting in a relationship with someone, so if its not young men then is it a lucky sex cult leader or what?

You realize there is a massive trend of old men leaving old women for younger ones right? The discrepancy had to go somewhere else in the relationship age gap.

Better than 1 or 2?

For you, sure 😂

It's been almost two months since my last drink and last night was the first time I dreamed about drinking. I was at a funeral and had a beer in each hand. There wasn't enough seating at the funeral and I was pissed at how awkward it was to drink while standing and holding onto two uncapped bottles. After drinking one down I panicked over the blood pressure meds having a negative interaction, funny how you remember stuff like that even when dreaming.

Clearly I have a problem. That problem is not drinking.

As far as narratives goes it’s definitely a better story than 2

so i've been dating this girl for 8 months. this coming friday she is going out with her best friend and a bunch of random people (both guys and girls) because it's her friends bday.

the problem is that ALL of my gf's friends are coke heads, and i don't like to be around that kind of shit anymore so i will not be going.

i trust my gf, but is it wrong of me to be concerned about this kind of situation?

You’re on bp meds? I was put on them 3 weeks ago. Still having side effects. Growing old is no fun. I’m hoping to drop to 200lbs and hopefully get off of them.

Yeah, lisinopril, 10mg. My blood pressure shoots up at the doctors from anxiety, but home tests were between 137/95 and 160/98, which is obviously abysmal. Gecko was telling me to see a doctor about it since his BP is lower in spite of juicing and being as heavy as an obese Big John Studd.

With the meds they're generally 134/79.

The anxiety makes it harder to measure, but that second number was always high 90's even when relaxed.

The thing that worries me is I always had anxiety, so I can't blame it all on that. Probably for the best being off alcohol, tbh.

Thanks.

I have age working against me at this stage, so I might never be off meds, unfortunately heart disease runs in the family,.my grandfather on my dads side had a triple bypass around my age and my father survived a heart attack near 70, had.three stents inserted.

I just count my blessings that it could always be a lot worse.

But you have the right idea, exercise, losing weight, straightening out the diet. Do what you can, don't stress about what you can't.

Good luck on your end, here's to health. (Drinks a foxen park ginger ale)

When Todd posts more than the next two highest counts combined, do we still call it "kept alive"?

It's more impressive that Todd and Whirly were responsible for 50% of the posts. Although I think it's more of an exception in Whirly's case since he defended himself against allegations.

This film features the son of Ivan Drago. You should have led with that.

it's not an exception

if the previous thread weren't deleted, you'd have the data to test that theory

Quite a unique "defense", considering how he managed to make it a million times worse.
