That quote about the irrational feminine soul explains a lot.
A common question of mine is if the masculine disposition is so rational, why do they give free reign over the irrational feminist. But on closer inspection a rational person would conclude in business, money is the end goal. If feminists want to demand policy that doesn't affect economic activity adversely at worst, and may be monetized at best, why not give in to their demands?
Dave Chappelle is proof of this. Giving into the activists would negatively affect the money flow, so he gets away with ruffling certain feathers in some venues while being barred from others.
The fatal flaw of this arrangement is if the irrational feminine leaders outweigh the rational masculine leader, you end up with ridiculous outcomes such as what is happening in Spain.
The unity of Spain’s first-ever coalition government has faced its toughest test in three years of power this week, with the two ruling parties, the PSOE socialists and left-wing Podemos group, at loggerheads over reforming a pioneering sexual violence law, known as the ‘Only Yes is Yes’ law, that has inadvertently led to the reduction of sentences for over 700 offenders.Podemos, which championed the new law last year, voted late on Tuesday in the Spanish Congress against considering a reform proposed by the PSOE to restore higher prison terms for future sexual offenders.
However, the proposed modification passed its first vote — with 231 for, 56 against, and 58 abstaining — to proceed through the legislative process.
The PSOE pushed it through with the rare backing of the right-wing People’s Party (PP) that leads the opposition. That alignment was considered a betrayal by Podemos, considering the PP’s record of opposing laws like expanding abortion rights.
The PSOE say the current law is flawed and want to make technical tweaks to restore higher minimum sentences. For example, they want rape convictions to be punished by at least six years behind bars, instead of the four established under the new law.
But the coalition government’s Equality Minister, Irene Montero, a member of Podemos who initiated the new law, insists the problem is the endemic sexism of some judges.
She says the PSOE’s proposal would betray the essence of the law, which makes lack of consent by a victim the key to determining if there is a sex crime. The proposed change would reintroduce the importance given to whether force is used by an alleged aggressor. The PSOE insist consent will remain central to the law. Podemos disagrees.
Both parties have said the coalition will stay intact and finish the legislature this year. But the wounds from the law’s fallout could see the end of a successful partnership that has produced several progressive laws, but risks being divided by its flagship cause.
The government, which has 14 women and nine men in its cabinet, has passed a series of feminist laws, including laws on abortion, menstrual leave and improved maternity and paternity leave, among others.
Arguing about the important of consent vs force is not a rational argument. This is a battle of assumption and polemic.
Real, measurable harm has come from this style of governance. Feminism is great at fiery grievance but horrible at critical thinking.

I don't even drink coffe. I'm almst straight edge, CM Parm.
Hardest drug I ever knowingly did was "Little Green".
I say knowingly because I firmly believe I was slipped LSD when in the care of Yale New Haven Hospital after I had my first Tourette's freakout.
Call me crazy, I still remember the hallucinations, the walls closing in, the inanimate objects becoming snakes and such. Kind of funny how vivid the memories are.

How the **** are you not straight edge if you're not doing caffeine?

Night shift job and no coffee? Are you some kind of a nazi vampire or what? 😂
also I wasn't really serious with the straight edge part.
I had my third beer since New Years last night, second at a bar with Wings the night before, and my first the Thursday before last.
This is because my PA went against every online source and OK'd the occasional drink. Said online sources claimed you could get irregular heart beat, low blood pressure, all kinds of bad interactions from mixing Ace Inhibitors.
Frankly this sucks worse then going cold turkey, I'd rather be sipping on my third 10ABV stout while debating popping open the 100 proof nips.
Binge drinking is great when its good, but I'll level and say even five drinks stopped really relaxing me after awhile. Also annoying falling asleep watching a show.
