Picard has a weirdly familiar theme that I don't care for. The same theme happened with Luke Skywalker in the last jedi. That theme is showing them as kind of pathetic and with nothing to show for their legacy. I do not understand it Captain Kirk was never treated like that. Even though he never really married or had a son that didn't get killed off in the next show.

I like the old Namco arcade games so I'm reading the last page with some interest. Do you happen to know if any mobile games have a right arcade experience in them? Just challenging a high score without gimmicks is sometimes all I need
Look up Data Wing in your App Store. It's a free game where you control a little Asteroid like ship in various tracks trying to better a score for speed. Has interesting gravity mechanics and a pretty interesting story involving a sentient AI sending you off for data like a packhorse so he can learn more about his users.
It's innovative and addictive.
Been thinking about the "man behind the curtain".
Specifically, the boards who appoint directors and such at philanthropies. Like take the ADL, Jonathan Greenblatt gets a lot of flack for being so gung ho, but I', thinking if he eased up at all or showed any perceived weakness, would he have to answer to a board of directors or whoever appointed him?
Such a setup raises the question of whether leaders can actually lead, or if they're constantly playing a guessing game to appease their bosses.

Sorry, realized that isn't what you were asking.
Ok.... Crazy Taxi had a good experience as far as classic arcade goes. There are ads though.
Aside from that not much experience with the old arcade style games on mobile. Most Space Invaders clones and such stink.
I suppose Pacma Championship exists on mobile, if you don't mind spending some money. Think Infinity Gene is also there.

You know the advice about turning sharpness down to 0 on a TV? Do you think that's just a scam?I ask because 480i content like Ms. Pac-Man or Galaga look kind of fuzzy at 0 and a lot crisper at 50-60%. I don't really see this "halo effect" they complain about.
Yeah I'm gonna just assume all that advice on TV calibration is bad advice or disinformation to sell framemeisters. Tested 50-60% sharpness on Megaman Anniversary Collection, Metroid Prime, Resident Evil 4 (In Zoom 1 mode because of the fake widescreen), and Zelda 1 and 2 off that Collectors disk I overpaid for. Flipped on and off with the Edge Enhancement switch, eyeballed from normal distance and up close.
I don't see no halo, I don't see no loss of fine detail, if anything some details actually get half hidden behind fuzziness when sharpness is disabled.
Maybe I'm doing it wrong, guess I'm no videophile. Definitely won't mess with the sharpness at 720P and up content though, and even my PS2 is iffy as it uses component settings while the Cube uses composites.
Everyone says to put sharpening to zero! How can I enjoy the games knowing I may be doing it wrong?? 😰😱😵
Should I keep it at 15% sharpening? But even that looks really really fuzzy compared to 50% on the Gamecube. But all the AV guys say 50% is crazy!
Why don't I see a halo? Maybe my eye sucks, maybe I should just do the recommended settings instead of trusting my taste! 😭
