So many questions.
Sold inventory = profit, unsold inventory = loss. Why take that hit on your bottom line to satisfy ONE irate parent?
Why was this woman so successful? Are all businesses this spineless? Not one decided to say "No" to her demands and just keep to business as usual?
If all it takes to force change is irate people and media exposure, it makes you wonder about modern pressure groups, and what WON'T companies do to make them happy.

Once full of life, the forum now withers, Members engaged in endless battles, absurd bickers, Realizing the game they played was nothing but a sham, The battlezones and respect threads, all a mere flimflam.
As the battles intensified, members lost their minds, Common sense thrown out, reason left behind, Day and night they fought and argued, so absurd, Forgetting they were all on the same side, just a weird herd!
The forum was once a place of passion and thrill, But now consumed by aggression, it's just a bitter pill, Members saw the reflection of their sorry state, Realizing it was all a big waste, it's too late.
The comic forum began to fade and die, Members left without batting an eye, The game they played was nothing but sad, Their time and effort wasted, just a fad.
And so, the forum's legacy comes to an end, Members move on, trying to make amends, Learning the hard way that respect and peace, Are the true virtues that never cease, a lesson to keep with ease.

So you know how Yamashita Kenzo had a hit placed on him by the Kure Clan for hiring them through a figurehead while keeping his identity hidden?
Doesn't it seem unlikely the Kure's never met shadowy organizations with hidden leaders who only operate by proxy?

Time enjoyed is not time wasted.
Soon as I finish outsmarting myself in Dead Space 2. You know those bastards that rush you? You know how the second encounter has a stasis recharger right before the super obvious ambush? I assumed the devs knew people were gonna stand right next to it and have the Necro's flank you in whatever direction you were facing away from, so I put my back to the wall about 10-20 steps away from the recharge station so I can cover both entry points, tried running to the station between rushes, and got torn apart. Three times I tried this. Finally I was toying with the idea of burning stasis packs, but first decided to try camping right next to the station facing the long way with my back to the far opening facing the wall. And they all charged straight into the meat grinder. Every single one. No flank.
That is REALLY disappointing. Kind of wish the AI was smarter but it's all brute force numbers, where any tactics get you killed because you get no real time to think or do more then react to the moment
