Doppo hasnt been stronger than baki since yujiro killed him

Theres a less than zero chance of him ever beating baki at this point

The only people who can beat baki now besides yujiro are Jack and Maybe pickle if he learns how to train martial arts

Come to think of it Pickle did beat Baki with a technique, and they never had their rematch. Even Mushashi only won because Pickle had PTSD from prehistoric wasp stings, otherwise he Mushashi didn't seem capable of hurting Pickles transformed state.

Lol, a little late to save Sukune's heat. It's not just the one hit KO, it's the fact Baki was super chill going into the fight. Just relaxing, keeping on his street clothes, and saying shite like "I wouldn't call it a serous challenge" or something.

Basically Sukune has zero credibility now as a threat to almost anyone in the main Baki cast.

And unfortunately that works both ways, so one could argue no one wins by beating him. It's the equivalent of knocking out a cripple in a wheelchair.

Well doppo has a magical surgeon friend and retsu had to learn a new way of fighting

The closest thing would probably be katsume getting retsus arm

Kind of surprised the finger couldn't have been put on ice, didn't even happen in a match, Mitsunari Tokugawa should have had access to the best medical care.

Doppo is viewed as a mid carder, but he's still the same guy who knocked down Yujiro and low diffed him until he went Ogre mode. No one, not even Mushashi, utterly dominated him in base mode like that.

Yeah you're right, I reread the Doppo fight and it wasn't neatly as one sided before Demon Back as I remember. Zero damage from taking five consecutive strikes in base mode alone, and needed that goofy eye trick just to hold him off. Mushashi is still the only one who not only survived Demon Back but actually had Yujiro on the defensive, so yeah..
