Read the scan, ABHI. It states the explosion has the FORCE of 3000 gamma bombs, it never said its a gamma bomb. Tony even denies it being a gamma bomb.

A suit storing something and it's durability are different things, what's the connection you're trying to make? Quasar can drain lots of energy, but his constructs aren't particularly durable
