I can name scenes where a character was hit away with 0 damage done to them. I can name scenes where a much weaker character knocks a much stronger character away.

So what does it take to not come off your feet if you are hit with a force above your weight? Anything you say (minus flight or being glued to the ground) I can find a counter example.
